A pristine 2012 Mini Cooper Turbo S coupe with just over 27k original miles is up for sale with a Buy It Now price of $16,950 or best offer. Located in Cape Coral, FL, the seller calls the color of this coupe beige, but it looks to be “Pepper White” with black hood stripes and a black top. Outfitted with Mini’s Sport Performance Package, this ride has an automatic transmission and a 1.6-liter turbo-charged four-cylinder that makes 181 horsepower.
The early 2000s saw a resurgence in appreciation for classic design, with car manufacturers drawing inspiration from their storied pasts while incorporating cutting-edge technology. BMW jumped on the wagon with the Mini Cooper, reborn in 2002, epitomizing this trend with its modern take on the beloved classic. At the top of the line in 2012, the Mini Cooper Turbo S Coupe, part of the third-generation lineup, is a testament to this era of nostalgia. This 2012 Mini Cooper Turbo S Coupe has been meticulously maintained and is in original condition. The interior exudes style and comfort and is in perfect condition (the center-mounted gauges have always looked great to me). Every detail of this vehicle has been preserved to reflect its factory-new state, from the pristine leather seats to the sparkling alloy wheels.
One of the exciting selling features of this Mini Cooper Turbo S Coupe is the remaining factory warranty. This added peace of mind means you can enjoy the spirited driving experience without concerns about unexpected repair costs. The warranty covers critical components, offering confidence in the vehicle’s reliability and performance. Under the hood, the Turbo S variant delivers a thrilling driving experience with its turbocharged engine, providing an exhilarating blend of power and efficiency. The precise handling, responsive steering, and sporty suspension system make every drive a pleasure. Inside, the cabin features modern conveniences and advanced technology, including a premium sound system, Bluetooth connectivity, and an intuitive navigation system, all wrapped in a stylish and functional design.
What is your take on the retro-styled cars that became popular during this time? Do you like the call-back to the original designs, or do you wish the manufacturers would try and come up with something new? BWM’s Mini design is one of the best examples of this era. And if you ever have a chance to drive one of these cars, please take it, because they are an absolute riot to drive! Purchase this car here on eBay.
Wouldn’t buy one of these if you put a gun to my head.
Too bad, so sad! I bought my 2008 new … stored in the winter and an absolute blast to drive in the summer!
Not a coupe!
My daughter and son in law love these things ( they have never owned one) I have never driven one and have only heard of people who have owned them and there seems to be no middle ground they either love them or hate them more hate than love mostly because of repair cost if I found the right deal I might get one but not this one.
I have had a 2010 Mini 5spd, 2012 MiniS Auto, 2013 Countryman S 5spd and now a 2016 Mini Clubman Auto. I have enjoyed each one of them but the hardtop S was a scream with the auto set to sport every start. This would be a great car with the auto (can I say that on this site)? Awesome styling and actually roomy in their own way. Drives like the overused term go-cart!
Ridiculous repair costs . . . like all BMWs. They were popular (like the new VW Beetles) until they started having reliability issues and once out of warranty were very costly . . . I am speaking from my personal experiences with both of these cars.
Never again. I had a 2012 Hampton Edition S. Best worst car i ever had…it only had 40k miles and was in showroom condition but nearly every month something broke. Expensive to repair, too. I finally gave up after 6 months and sold it. Out of all the cars I’ve had (and I’ve had a lot), I had the Mini the shortest period of time. Loved it when it worked, but that was rare. My story is not unique, either. I know dealerships who won’t even take Minis in on trade.
be sure to buy pig mats to soak up the oil leaks. these are junk. poorly put together. if you buy 1 you will suffer.
I have one. The most reliable component on it is the check engine lamp. One time it went out for 3 hours but it came back.
