This 1987 Buick Grand National is being offered by the original owner and is claimed to have only covered 5k miles since new! This car is in amazing original condition and although a few upgrades have been made, all the original parts are included. The Grand National was built to celebrate Buick’s wins in the NASCAR Winston Cup Grand National Series. It may not have followed the traditional muscle car formula, but Buick did their best when they built the Grand National. It was still rear wheel drive, but power was provided by a turbocharged V6! So, if you are in the market for one of these, this may be the one to get. Find it here on eBay out of Roselle, Illinois.

I always liked these cars, wasn’t much to brag about in the 80’s so we took what we could get. This one and the Monte Carlo SS with the H.O. where about the only cars that interested me at that time in my life.
~ The fastest American made car in the 80’s?
… As far as production cars, The 1987 Grand National hands down.
listing has ended. maybe seller has seller remorse! great find
I am a huge g-body fan. Have spent sometime in a few of these. Very impressive cars. And add a few mods and they can be quite impressive. Helped work on a 10 second one of these. What an animal.65mph you kick in the passing gear on the interstate and hold the F@#K ON !! Oh my is that an experience.
I love ’em….have owned several….looks like owner had seller’s remorse?? I have one that I bought with a worn-out motor…did a complete frame-off and I’m installing an LSX427…would love to have had a chance to bid on this one…
How did the swap come out?
Nice car, and these g-body cars are starting to increase in value across the board.
Here’s an ’88 Monte Carlo SS with less than 2200 original miles for sale:
