The ’69 Nova came about during the golden age of Chevrolet. The manufacturer offered loads of performance and engine options for its cars during that time and many of them were interchangeable between the Nova, Camaro, Chevelle, and Impala. This means that Novas even today have a wide availability of parts. This example is said to have 26,800 miles and is offered on eBay for $61k or the best offer.
The Nova is said to be finished in factory Burnished Brown. The paint is fairly unique and in good condition. All the glass is original and appears to be in good condition as well. The seller notes that the car will be accompanied by vintage Halibrand wheels and other extras. In general the car’s exterior presents well.
The interior is said to be original and in great condition considering the age of the car. There are no apparent blemishes, tears, or cracks. The cabin is roomy and relatively comfortable. It’s rare to find an original interior in a car from the ’60s in this kind of condition. The next owner could absolutely just drive and enjoy this car without putting in any extra work with reupholstry.
The engine bay is in impressive condition. The 1970 LS6 engine is said to be 1 of 1923 LS6s with a CRR code that is mated to a 400 turbo transmission. The engine sends a massive 513hp to the rear wheels. The Nova comes accompanied by its original spare tire and jack, window sticker, and manual with original cover. This 1969 Nova presents the opportunity to own an incredibly cool and quick vintage vehicle that needs no work. The next owner could take it on long road trips, car shows, or modify the engine to create even more power and take it to the drag strip. If this car is something you think you need in your collection buy it on eBay before it’s gone.
I believe we just saw this here about a month ago, still a nice car but all the focus is going to be on the upcoming auctions, especially here in the desert southwest…
Seems to be a lot of repeats lately
You are correct. They had it listed on Craig’s List for $60,500
350 396, Never have i heard or seen or Heard a 454 let alone a LS6 in a Nova
Must be a transplant, Neither Nicki or Yenko, or anyone else offered this.
Well done car but the color wouldn’t fit in my garage.
Very nice car but priced unrealistically.
bobhess, it’d cost less to change the color of your garage
Did that when we bought the house and said I’d never do it again. Way too much work.
Apparently not an SS Nova, its unique, still overpriced!
If I wanted a Chevy sleeper I would pick up that ’62 Impala 4dr w/’64 409/425hp motor advertised here a month ago, 16k$! Put to good use the 44k$ saved
pull the LS6 and put a s/b back in it. too much $. most likely because of the LS6 drive train. it’s just a nova
