1994 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Convertibles dotted the streets in the ’90s and represented a hip and youthful spirit. The same model a year prior was selected as the official pace car for the Indianapolis 500. This example is said to have 76k miles. It is for auction on eBay. Bidding ends Sunday, November 15th.
The exterior is finished in its original white with a black convertible top. The exterior appears to be in good condition with no significant damage present. The car wears 16×8 aluminum factory mag wheels wrapped in performance tires which also appear to be in good condition. This car would make an exciting cruiser on a sunny day with the top down.
The interior is finished in what is said to be factory red and gray textured bucket seats with matching smaller rear seats. The carpet is also great and the dash is finished in black. The cabin is in great condition and does not appear to have any damage. The car is equipped with a Hurst short throw shifter, an Alpine stereo, power windows, locks, and top. Overall it has all the amenities you hope for in a muscle car and plenty of comfort.
The engine bay appears to be in good shape. A 350 cubic inch LT1 5.7 V8 engine sends power to the wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission. The car came factory with overdrive, a power rack & pinion steering, and ride & handling suspension. This car is a great example of a ’90s muscle car with all the right bits and bobs present. It would make a great addition to a pony or muscle car collection. It would be a fun weekend driver to take the family out with. If you are interested in buying this 1994 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 bid on eBay before the auction ends Sunday.
Driven a 6sp, manual hardtop. Fast cars.
No mention of the horsepower and torque ratings? I’m not a Camaro guy, see my user name, but I like this Chevy. Is the red upholstery faded or is is that just the lighting? Easy fix in any event. Should be interesting to see what this goes for.
In the ‘94 Z28, the LT1 was rated at 275-hp and 325 lb-ft of torque.
I like the styling on these 4th-gens. In stock form, I would even say it’s my favourite style of Camaro – the only thing that looks better is a resto-modded 1st-gen. Looks great in convertible form, and with the top down, every gear change (up or down) would sound fantastic. Pretty nice set of wheels.
Loos like they’re asking $20k on their lot.
I wanted one of this body style when they first came out, but then I found out that you needed a lift just to give it a tune up. As the technology on today’s cars has advanced its gotten way to complicated to fix them myself and has me wanting to buy the older stuff for my daily drivers because I can open the hood and know what I’m looking at and don’t need a crank or cam shaft position sensor to tell me why it won’t start.
Likely not going to sell unless reserve is met, it’s a dealer selling this Camaro.
My son had a red 96 convertible with the factory ground effects package in the early 2000’s. It was a nice car and fun to drive but I’ve never driven anything that had the cowl shake of that Camaro on rough roads. And I’ve owned and driven plenty of 60’s and 70’s convertibles.
$6,100.00 was the high bid.
Reserve not met.
No sale.
had a 94 Z28 6-speed that I bought new, Coupe, no T-tops, power locks or windows, did spring for the power seat and engine oil cooler. Sold her in 2019 with 249K (but only about 50K on a remanufactured Trans/new Clutch) . I think the Convertibles were governed to 110mph or so.
Bought this twin on ebay in early 2000’s , it had the gray leather interior, i prefer this combination looks awesome .
6 speed drop top , i toyed around with it but didn’t love it , i had too many cars at the time and too much work to enjoy them , so i sold it .
This car is a beaty, mint floors and all but at $20 k , its overpriced
Early this spring , i bought a 95 t/a, same mileage, auto but in need of a new top for $2600 canadian , all stock with mint floors
