For those that aren’t well versed in aquatic life terminology, a large group of stingrays is called a fever. So it only makes sense that when you have a large group of Corvette Stingrays in Miami, Florida it only makes sense that they would also constitute a fever. And boy, did someone ever have the Corvette fever! This seller has five C3s and a C4 up for grabs, all in various conditions. I actually came across this fever while looking at this bright red 1975, here on eBay, that is said to have been found in a barn but I figured the other cars might actually be of more interest!
I wouldn’t mind if my front yard was invaded by a fever of Corvettes like this, although I’m not sure if my wife or neighbors would agree! I really would love to know the full story of how this seller ended up with so many C3s. They claim the red car has been in the same family since 1985, so perhaps they inherited a few or maybe they started buying them when values were still low?
As mentioned, these cars are in various condition ranging from projects that need serious work all the way to beautifully restored drivers. I’m sure most people are primarily interested in this ’69. You can find it here on eBay with a current bid of $25k. It’s said to have had $95,000 worth of work done to it and it really does look fantastic. Not only is it a desirable year in great shape, it’s also a 4-speed car with working AC!
Here’s the C4. While I prefer the looks of the C3, I honestly wouldn’t mind having this ’95! They are fun to drive and this one looks to be in pretty good shape. With values on the rise for C3s, this one might actually be an affordable way into Corvette ownership. You can find it here on eBay.
Rather than spoil all the fun of discovering the other C3s, I’ll let you take a look at the rest of them on your own! You can find them on the seller’s page here on eBay. So, which of these Corvettes would you want to have? And would you ever want your front yard to be taken over by a fever of Stingrays?
Wow! I wish i had the problem of having to many Corvettes. I havent had the privilege yet of owning one, but some some day I will for sure. My extra money is wrapped up in boats and motorcycles currently.
“All my money is tied up in change”
Let’s see your projects i.m a. Boat head and bike and car head.petey4334@gmail.com.
But would that be a covey of Corvettes? I guess that’s better than a coven! (or a convent for that matter.)
So many good choices but I want the 1973 with its one year only bumper combo.
The ’95 looks really nice, as does the ’69. The ’95 is $20.000 cheaper!
Over 95K for a 1969 resto? Man, that want’s me to get back on the herb again. The 1975 looks roached. The C4 would be fun. I do like the blue one, I think 1971, never found that one. I am happy with my base 1972 Classic white. fun girl.
prefer the sticks and chrome bumpers.but; 73matic i could afford? dreamin’ and drinkin’ is all i do after i park my 74FXE.
Hi stanley kwiecinski, nothing wrong with the dreamin’ and drinkin’. I have a 71 FX. Wish I had the button at times. Take care, Mike. PS, I am parked and having one now.
My only question is who in their right mind would spend 90,000 on a restoration and then offer the car for 25,000
@SC/RAMBLER. They are not offering it for sale at $25k. That is only the current auction bid price.
Watch yourselves!
Dealing with a Miami scammer.
Been there, done that. Not good to deal with. Flipper that does very poor repair work. Lies, lies, lies.
95k on a C-3? This guy is either out of his mind, a liar, or BOTH…I go with LIAR!
I know that if I found a fever in my yard, I would have to turn loose a herd of Mustangs to stomp them into the ground! I hate these cars!
That’s right turn those ponies loose
They are not anywhere near the top of my list of most desirable cars either but, hate them, no way.
Wheels for the ’95 are directional. Installed incorrectly. Maybe blame the guy at the tire store for putting a set of directional tires on wrong? In any case, it looks silly.
