Arizona Salvage Yard Find

It isn’t often that we come across a large collection of classic cars for sale, so when we do, we get pretty excited about what we might find. Reader Paul tipped us in on this collection of cars that has been baking in the Arizona sun for the past 40 years. There are around 40 cars for sale here of various makes, the complete listing can be found here on the Phoenix Craigslist.

Big Bob has apparently been accumulating all these cars and parts for the past 40 or so years. Whether you’re looking for a Studebaker, a classic Ford, or anything built between 1930 and 1960, this is the place to go. Most of these cars look to be big projects, but we are sure there are a few gems hiding in here. There are just so many different cars in this collection, that we can’t name them all.

You can see this collection this Saturday the 22nd, starting at 8 o’clock in the morning. We would be sure to show up early before all the good stuff is gone. If anyone is in the Tempe, Arizona area, drop by and check it out and let us know how it looks. If you could have any of the cars from this collection, which would you want? Special thanks to Paul for sharing this find with us!

Is that old luggage in the bargain box?

And Big Bob came into possession of all these undamaged cars how?

Wow what lovely find, at least they have not all been lying up to their axles in a forest, decomposing, I am too far away too in the UK.

Cool I love these yards, saw one in Montana a few years ago, some where between Missoula & Kalispel.

If you drive a car around the Southwest, there are yards similar to this in places most don’t go. Sadly the “big old car” thing is dying a rapid death and I fear these will be parts cars or worse.
Wish there were some old Lotus in there, it would give me an excuse to drive over to my favorite state.

I am thinking “Yard art” for the most part, …but maybe the 57 or 58 Ranchero would be complete enough to take on?…. looks like a very fun walk through the park, at a minimum…
