We normally stick to fairly complete cars here on Barn Finds, but I think large stashes of parts can still be exciting. Sometimes people have spares after completing a restoration or maybe they have just been hoarding parts for years, but however they are formed, these collections can be a good way to get parts for your own project. Just the other day I picked up a small collection of MG TD parts myself. There were a few books and parts in there that I had been looking for so I figured I could breakeven by selling off the unwanted bits. It also saved the seller lots of time because they didn’t have break everything up. I have already recovered my expense and might even make a few bucks off the effort. This collection of Austin-Healey 100 parts and tools could present the same opportunity for someone. The seller claims that they have $5k invested, but I’m not sure if I see $2,500 worth of stuff in the photos. It might be worth checking out in person though if you are in the area. Find the stash here on craigslist in Chico, California. They claim the sale is only good through June 4th, but the ad is still up. Thanks goes to Robert R. for the tip!

i think the tools would be of great interest. the parts would need to have a PI before spending that kind of money but if there still for sale maybe the seller will accept an offer. interesting find
Indeed the tools. I haven’t seen a UniSyn carb sychronizer in years. A PI is needed as suggested above.
There are three unisyns in my various tool containers. One with the race tools, one with the shop tools, and one in the bag I throw in for long Triumph trips. I know, I know…
