Baby Woody: 1950 Crosley Station Wagon

1950 Crosley Woodie Wagon

We’ve featured lots of Crosleys here at Barn Finds. Even a station wagon! But this one, albeit a garage rather than a barn find, is in terrific driver condition at no reserve. It’s located in New Middletown, Ohio and is at auction here on eBay where the opening bid is set at $4,300. Featuring a 44 cubic inch four-cylinder engine and a three-speed manual transmission, this older restoration looks ready to drive anywhere – as long as you don’t mind taking your time! The wood paneling on the sides and rear add a touch of class to this little wagon. How cute can a car get? This one would be a fun way to get into the hobby at a bargain basement price, especially if bidding stays near that opening number. And think, it won’t take much more room than that riding lawn mower in the garage!

    I dig Crosley’s…………..
Now, before some of you laugh…………read the racing history of Crosley’s to include, race boats, Sebring and track cars. The engines were used in other brands as well.

And a great support group over on Yahoo Groups (the only good thing about yaa-hoo)

my first car was a 48 crosley 2 door i bought it in 1955 for $50.00 and my brother took it without my permission and destroyed it. that was another reason for me leaving alabama in jan. 1956.
