One of our readers, Dave S., just sent in a few photos of a 1926 Willys Overland that he found in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Before becoming famous for the Jeep, Willys built many passenger and commercial vehicles. This particular one appears to be a truck, but I cant help but wonder if it is a converted sedan or roadster. Any guesses? The owner has had it for the past 15 years. It’s claimed to be all original and the four-cylinder engine runs! The owner would like to get $4,000 and you can contact Dave through email here for their contact information. Thanks for sharing this with us Dave!

Looks like it started out as a touring car, judging by the bodywork and ill fitting top bows.
Awesome find! Would definitely be interested in this unique find should it be closer. Hope it finds a good home to hit be able to hit the road again.
According to my books this is an ” open express” model. but there is a following note that says: “with aftermarket bodies”. Apparently this is an Overland Model 91CE, on an Overland Four chassis with a 1/2 ton payload rating. Basically it was sold as a chassis only, that customers would add bodies by various manufacturers. Price here seems in line. Great find!
