If you’ve ever believed that full-size American sedans quietly peaked in the 1990s, this 1994 Buick Roadmaster Sedan makes a strong case for it. Listed as a Barn Finds Exclusive in Carthage, Missouri, this example shows 94,000 miles, carries a clean title, and is powered by the highly respected 5.7-liter LT1 V8 paired with an automatic transmission. It’s a car that blends traditional Buick comfort with genuine V8 performance in a way that’s becoming increasingly hard to find.

This Roadmaster is a three-owner car with a well-documented ownership history. The current owner purchased it in August 2021 at roughly 69,000 miles and used it as a daily driver through early 2023. It’s still driven regularly, not parked away or forgotten, and that use shows in a good way—it’s described as an excellent-running, survivor-quality driver that’s been consistently maintained rather than neglected.

The interior is reported to be in very good condition, complete with tilt steering and cold air conditioning, while the drivetrain continues to perform exactly as it should. The LT1 is noted for delivering impressive performance for a car of this size, returning about 20 mpg while still providing that unmistakable V8 character. Premium fuel has been used, and the transmission is said to shift smoothly with no odd noises or smells.

Maintenance records since 2021 are extensive and detailed, covering everything from cooling system services and suspension work to brake replacement, window repairs, and regular oil changes with synthetic oil. Both the original Buick wheels with Hankook tires and a newer set of JEGS wheels with lower-profile tires are included, giving the next owner flexibility depending on their preference. Even the original mufflers are retained and will go with the car.

Cosmetically, the Roadmaster is honestly represented. Close inspection shows some peeling on the plastic over the rear bumper, along with minor scratches and paint chips near the headlights and grille—normal signs of use rather than abuse. The car has been stored indoors since the current owner purchased it and has not been driven in snow. Even the original spare tire is believed to have never left the trunk.

A few minor issues are disclosed, including cruise control that can lose speed and non-functioning rear door power locks, but everything else reportedly works as intended. In return, you get a large, comfortable, V8-powered sedan that rides beautifully, turns heads, and still delivers old-school Buick presence every time it’s driven.

It’s being sold simply to fund another project, which opens the door for the next caretaker. How many chances remain to buy a well-kept LT1 Roadmaster that’s still being enjoyed exactly as Buick intended?

Needs Whitehall tires!
Made in arlington Texas by way of buick city Flint MI
desperate need of the original wheels with w/w tires and a pair of front springs. those wheels on it are not doing it any favors thats for sure
Whitewalls are still readily available. Many tire shops just don’t want to stock them because of the now limited market. Some vehicles require them, this Buick and my 94 Lincoln Town car!
Nice Buick here. I see three different tire/wheels set up here.
