Reader Kem J recently spotted some interesting small cars in the big state of Texas! He wasn’t able to find out much about the cars, but clearly they have been parked here for a number of years. Given the diverse audience here at Barn Finds, he thought he would see if any of you guys happen to know more about these cars. This really is an interesting mix of cars, although it appears most are micro cars. There’s several MGBs, an MGA, a Triumph TR250, a BMW 2002, a Crosley Hot Shot, a Fiat 600 Multipla and several other interesting micro cars. While many of these cars look to be in rough shape, a few of them look solid enough to justify restoring! It will definitely be interesting to know what the story is here and whether any of these cars are for sale. We want to thank Kem for sharing his find with us! So sad! Like all the puppies at the pound behind bars hoping to be adopted. I for one would love to get my hands on a few of those, especially the TR-250 & the mini panel….

Many years ago I knew a guy in Arecibo, Puerto Rico who was a mechanic for British cars. He had a bunch of them in his shop from different owners waiting for parts (this is before the internet days) He came down with cancer and passed away, and nobody could get their cars back. Sat there for ages and finally was bulldozed away.
This is quite a stash. For starters, I believe the white MG is a ’69 MGC, very rare. The mustard color ’71 was my exact MGB when I bought it, wires, hardtop, 3 wipers, everything. The Renault 4CV was my very 1st car, and the Dauphine would sure look good in my parking space.
So, what’s going to happen to these cars? With a few exceptions, is anybody going to restore these? Just too expensive, if you can even find parts. Fun for us to look at and reflect, I suppose.

The TR250 and the MGC are very desirable cars. TheTR250 especially. Folks will buy them in nearly any condition.

Looks like a mini Riley elf….
Love that TR and the early Midget beside it. And as previously mentioned, the hood bubble on the white MG indicates that it may be an MGC, which is super cool. The piece of chrome trim on the hood of the mustard-colored 70-72 “fish mouth” grille MGB looks fairly nice and could be reused, as that piece is unobtanium today.

If anyone has more information about this lot, I would love to find out mote about that Fiat 600 Multipla. It would make for a great promotion/attention getter for my NPO!

Goggomobiles? I didn’t see any here, There’s a couple of Fiat 500 based Bianchinas, one convertible and one coupe with roll-back roof.
Some of those cars are worth a bit – Riley Elf (Posh Mini), the TR250 and the MGC.
Would love to get my hands on the mga coupe, the riley elf, mini panel, and the mgc or, well, any of them!!
Haven’t seen hardly any Rileys in the Seattle area (even w/ our proximity to British car rich Vancouver BC) maybe 1 or 2 over the years, anyhow looks like a badge-engineered Mini

White MG is definitely a C. Very distinctive hood bump with the chrome trim across the hood.
The minivan has a flip front I wonder what’s under there …..
there was a guy running around the east end of toronto canada years ago with a mini van with a ford cosworth engine with twin webbers that thing would fly!

I have a minor case of color blindness, but the car that says “Walden” on the door is a pre-war Crowley. Two much lighter blue cars are Fiat 500 based Autobianchi Bianchinas.
