Camaro Vette Duo: Batman and Robin?

Do you recall how Batman and Robin had alter egos, seemingly normal people in real life? You might say the same thing for this 1967 Camaro and 1971 Corvette package deal here on eBay. Unlike their normal, everyday counterparts, this pair of street fighters have been heavily modified, hiding their true identities. The Camaro was supposedly used in a TV show, but the seller doesn’t say which one; it’s been set up for racing with tweaks including a roll cage, fuel cell and a super-wide bodykit. The Corvette is more your typical ’70s custom job, with a shark nose conversion and turbine-look wheels. As ridiculous as they may appear to be, this dynamic duo looks like a lot of fun for not much money. Does anyone know what the Camaro’s claim to fame is? With the cars located in Florida, they’re a long way from Hollywood.

The Camaro could serve as one of those drifting cars in it’s next life. I’m not sure what you could do with the Corvette. Parts car maybe?

The Corvette would be an easy restore for a professional shop, being an LT-1 car it would be worth the effort. The Camaro is next to worthless due to the extent of the cutting done to the car (like the firewall).

Those 2 cars would be great chic magnets, I have always thought that selling two items in one auction is a mistake.

Seems to me that those who are calling down these cars did not live through the 70s. Fads come and go, and this is what was current and popular in the 70s. Perhaps not so much now.

They are typical belly button cars normally to me but done up like these two are almost appeals to me. Yeah it’s a Bette and a first gen camaro. Typically not my cups of tea to own. But with the mods they have they would definitely attract some attention on the street and on cruise night. I almost like them.

Either one would be cool for me, I don’t think they’d survive my rock driveway though.
You’d have girls in bathing suits leaning all over either one of them at the lake.

Was there a reserve? I bet the owner was disappointed. Somebody got some cool toys cheap.

I agree. Good deal. Dump the Camaro and restore the Vette.
