After approximately 36 years of sitting in the barn this Charger is ready for someone to step up. Listed here on craigslist Nashville, Tennessee is this 1970 Dodge Charger priced at $15K or best offer.
According to the seller, there are 57K original miles on this car. They don’t provide any information about the engine and it’s condition.
The odometer shows 50,599. What happened to the 57k stated by the seller?
This car was purchased new in Lewisburg, Tennessee and the body is said to be in “good shape has a little rust underneath where it sat in the barn, but everything is complete.”
There is not an image of the front of the car, which makes us a bit worried. We believe that the garage door does open, so why wasn’t an image of the front of the car provided? There are no other images of the interior or any of the undercarriage. We don’t know if the engine spins and/or runs (hopefully it’s not locked up). There is a closeup of the fuel cap, which makes the lack of a front shot that much more suspicious. You can contact Danny, the seller, with any questions you may have.
Motor-on,
Robert
I would really like to see more of the General Lee car next to this one.
There might be a lot of nasty under that vinyl top, which would be a huge amount of work to correct . Some one will want this car and good luck to them, at least there are plenty of repro. Parts for these.
It’s a small block so not a huge deal if the motor is trash.
If it were a 69 or 68 I’d say it is worth 15k.
I would think that, as is the case with alot of “muscle cars”, the 150 MH speedo in the dash cluster photo WOULD NOT be indicative of a small block.
Small engine, small radiator no front clip…. Seller is a scammer… And… The mileage? Rolled… I smell spam scam
llots of looks like a scam. beware Just sold a 2 door and 70 dart they are tricky.I had several scam attempts.

That roof scares me.. However,, He’ll probably get his money for it.. Best of luck to the buyer… He’ll need it.
Seller: Please send me a check and add 1500 for shipping.
Buyer: Why do I have to send it to Jamaica.
Seller: Just trust me. I’m not in the country right now.
crap its 57K or 50 or whatever
He does not want to sell it, just fishing for a sucker.
I am really getting feed up with boneheads who want such big money for cars that ,in this case will need more than 40 50 grand to make new again…and they wont take better pics to make it right..this dust ,dirt and barn patina makes me puke…pull it out…at least wash it..clean all the shit out of it…buff up what chrome can take it..even take a buffer and see if areas can be pulled back to life…its a Charger, they made thousands…its not a rare car…there Im done..
