The classic Ford Bronco is going to be a desirable SUV for years to come. Often, there can be temptation to buy vehicles that are on a white-hot streak in terms of sale prices, but then you realize it was just a moment in the time. The Bronco will likely not suffer that fate, as prices have been steadily rising for some time and even in the post-pandemic reset, we’ve not seen much of a change in the asking prices for these usable rigs. This 1995 Ford Bronco listed here on craigslist is a desirable Eddie Bauer edition that sports upgraded trim and other options, and looks like a keeper with an asking price of $25,900.
Thanks to Barn Finds reader Mitchell G. for the find. This Bronco is said to be a West Coast find, and despite having 122,000 miles on the clock, the Dark Tourmaline Metallic Green & Light Santa Fe paint appears to be in excellent condition. The Eddie Bauer trucks, whether it was an Explorer or a Bronco II, got absolutely beautiful paint jobs from the factory. In a world overrun with cosmetic dress-up kits and brand partnerships that yield little in the way of additional value for the consumer, the Eddie Bauer trucks from Ford were at least stunning to look at. The only thing that strikes me as a flaw on this Bronco from the outside is the rear bumper is clearly askew.
Leather seating surfaces were a hallmark of these special edition models, along with power seats. The seller notes that the interior remains in clean condition despite not having time capsule-grade mileage, and the photos show that it has a handy overhead console along with push-button 4WD (paired with auto-locking hubs). The carpets, always susceptible to stains due to only being offered in tan, remain in good shape. While I’m sure you’re going to discover some flaws due to age in a truck that has some actual miles under its belt, you can either use that as a negotiation tactic or be content knowing you don’t have to keep it in perfect condition.
The 5.8L V8 generated a respectable 210 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque. The value for trucks like these depends heavily on condition, because while values have ticked upwards, Broncos in solidly driver- or project-grade condition sell for considerably less. The range I see indicates a decent driver can be had for $10K or so; if you want the best, or at least a really nice driver, plan to pay $20K or better. This truck looks to be in the latter category, but I’d want to see the rear bumper fixed for the current asking price, along with some indication of service history. The good news is they made a lot of these, so if this one doesn’t work out, another one will come along before too long.
Good write-up Jeff. I agree, the Eddie Bauer-trimmed Fords of this era were well-executed. Upscale interior without being gaudy. The two-tone paint looked great, and the green/tan was perhaps “the” color combination, as it matched the Eddie Bauer persona. For me the full-size Broncos looked best. I’m not surprised that nice ones like this example command big bucks.
Sage comment on a Ford as usual Bob. One tire size too big here.
I agree with Bob and Stan. This color combo was my favorite on these too. I always admired the full sized Broncos in Eddie Bauer trim. Always wanted one but could never afford it. I also like that they went with the 351, very good choice. After a long day at work though I’d be afraid of falling asleep driving home in those very comfortable seats. This is a very nice clean unabused truck for sure.
Funny, I’m in the market for a ‘95 or ‘96 Ford Bronco and had spoke to this seller a few days ago. He sold it unfortunately.

Greg, I’ve got a 96′ EB (Bought in 2014). It has a 351 / EO4D/ 3:55 closed axle,130K. Original owner bought it in AZ and was a Snowbird from Washington state. It lives with its brother, a 90′ XLT (Bought in 1991) 5.0 / EO4D / 3:55 open axle. This one has been garage kept since Jan. 91′. I’m, retired and If you’re interested this could be a ‘scoop’
Sounds interesting. Here is my cell phone number (208) 412-9744

Dad’s last vehicle
Definitely a CA Bronco since it has mass air on the 5.8. That was a CA-only thing in ’95.
I’ve had three Broncs, 81, 83, and a 96 Eddie Bauer. I loved em all, and would have another one if the pocketbook allowed. This is a beauty, but would present better if the rear bumper was fixed. Thanks for the great write-up.
I had a 95 Red with red interior one of these. Pulled my 20′ boat with it no problem. In fact, it had such a good turning radius that I could park the boat in some really tight spots with no issues. Wish I still had it.
I had one for my work vehicle , great truck loved it , this one looks good !
My brother and I had one. My brother bought a brand new 1993 Eddie Bauer Edition, Green exterior, tan top, tan leather interior. He later gifted it to me and together we had over 200,000 miles on it. Sure miss it and hope to find another soon.
Too many miles for the price. Won,t be long it,ll start causeing problems.
