Collection of Blue Chip 1967 Chevrolet Muscle!

Deep in the heart of Mississippi there’s an awesome collection of 1967 Chevrolets. If you’ve been wanting an instant collection of muscle cars, this may be the perfect opportunity! The Corvette, Camaro and Chevelle can be found here on Craigslist with an asking price just shy of $160,000. The ad doesn’t say why they are up for sale, but they are being sold together and apparently aren’t for sale individually. Located in Purvis, Mississippi, all of the cars look like high-quality drivers and have very desirable options. Let’s take a closer look and thanks to Pat L. for the tip on this great collection!

The Corvette convertible features a 327 backed by a 4-speed. The side pipes, redline tires and Kelsey Hayes (or similar replica) wheels look awesome! It also has air conditioning and AM/FM radio. The interior is black and overall, this car looks like a high-quality driver.

It’s hard to beat a bright red Camaro, especially a rally sport/supersport! This one looks extra sharp with the white stripe across the front with the SS badges. The red interior is almost as bright as the outside. Under the hood, you’ll find a nice matching numbers 350/4-speed combo. Again, like the Corvette, this looks like a high-quality driver. It has power steering and brakes with discs in the front. The engine compartment could be freshened up a tad, but other than that, it looks like a great car.

Like the Camaro, the Chevelle is a Super Sport model and is a matching numbers car. The engine is a 396 with an automatic transmission. The interior looks great and is a nice blue color that compliments the exterior well.

Overall, this looks like a great collection of 67s. It appears that the Chevelle and Corvette have California plates. I’m not sure if they were original California cars or just moved to Mississippi? Other than a sentence or two on each car, there isn’t much information in the ad. Hopefully, the seller will provide prospective buyers with some history and documentation. What do you think of this collection? Do you think this group is worth $160,000?

This collection is pretty cool. As a kid in the 60’s, I used to arrange my model cars as if they were at a dealership— the current or one-year-previous models of one make together (the “new cars”), older or other makes in another area (the “used cars”). This is sort of like a grown-up version of the same exercise, but with way more zeros in the cost column.

Just daydreaming here… Following this idea, if one set out to do this, maybe concentrate on less “popular” model years, which would be cheaper to assemble. For example, how about a 1986 Mustang GT, Turbo Coupe, Taurus, and F-150 in one collection?

I don’t know 1967 Chevrolets, so I won’t comment on the cars. I wonder if the seller is using something besides Craigslist. More info would be good.

    By the way, nice garage.

From a financial point this is WAY out of my ball park – and I’d believe most other BF readers too. However I won’t deny this is a sexy trio of the most desirable Chevrolets of the late 60s with nice options and in seemingly excellent driver condition. When we’re talking such figures I presume there’s some room for negotiations…?

If I were to pick only one I’d take the… Chevelle!

In think its overpriced by 40-50 k on the bundle .
The owner should of had them appraised and shown the appraiser notes 📝

They look nice but…., the vette is-not a big block … this forum is not mecum …,
If you ask over 💯 then prove your readers wrong or right with documentation

Back before the days of word processors, we used to say “They’ve been sniffing too much white out”. Nice looking cars – yes, overpriced – absolutely. They need to get more realistic in their prices especially if they want to sell them as a unit.

I feel like the sky high price and insistence that they aren’t for sale individually is an attempt to either appease a spouse with a token sale attempt or keep tire kickers away.

Maybe for concours quality cars $160k might be a good price but pretty steep for drivers, though they all look to be very nice cars. Not a lot of info on the cars either. The pool of potential buyers will be thin as the seller will have to find someone who wants all three cars and who has a lot of money to part with. Nice collection but he might do better to offer the cars individually.

I bet it might be hard to sell these as a group. But perhaps the seller thinks that someone will come along and be willing to overpay for the group so they can have the one car of their dreams. Then sell the others??? Who knows. It is easy to sit here and make up stories. Good luck, they are all beautiful cars. I love his garage!

Tom the 350 was introduced with the 67 camaro ss it was the 1st year for that motor it was rated at 295 HP with a hydraulic cam and cast iron intake manifold and quadrajet 4 bbl.carburetor in 1969 it replaced the 327 in the Corvette and was rated at 300 HP same motor Chevrolet couldn’t have a camaro with a higher HP rating then a Vette

$45k for the vette, $40k for camaro & $45k for chevelle. Still an abundance of all these out there. More for sale at high asking prices than being sold. Going into winter itll slow down. I think the whole muscle classic car thing is taking a downturn overall, unless one has a rare special one, copo, yenko, motion, etc. Us tail end ‘boomers’ at 59, a few yrs ago had an interest going back to teen days but knowing what we sold those cars for when we had them back in the day & the overpricing of today, makes me pass on, to looking at 30′ camp pull trailers & taking advantage of the lull in new vehicle sales to pull it. Unless classic muscle comes down considerably, I’d rather just look & ‘Ew Ah’ them at shows. Face it, boomers are a dying breed now & really the only ones interested in them. Those that bought these muscle classics 15-20 years ago are now doing exactly what they bought them for, selling at a huge profit. The millenials I know are making bank in 401k investments instead, not looking at ’69 Z28 or hi tagged clones as investment. If interested in power & speed, its the new stuff complete with USB & paddle shift. Razors, wave runners, quads & snow mobiles also spark more interest. Throw in campers too we have also seen this past summer.

This seller is limiting his audience by selling all 3 together.

I can appreciate not wanting to deal with tire kickers but even so…..

For that kind of money he should throw in a Nova SS and an Impala SS then you could have a complete set of hi-po 67’s

… back in the day when there was a hi-po version for (almost) every model line.
