Some cars just hit the target! They have all the right features, good looks, are in decent condition and are offered for the right price. Listed on craigslist in Nashville, Tennessee, this ’65 Dodge Dart GT V8 is priced at $3,500, but does it hit the mark for you? This Mopar collector, not a dealer, appears to be thinning out the collection some. They claim it is a complete and numbers matching car with the original V8 and Torqueflite Automatic Transmission. I bet it looked great when it was still in its original Ivory with white-and-gold interior.

There is some minor rust, as can be seen in the photos. The body looks straight otherwise and you have to love the slightly unusual lines of this generation of Dart!

The interior appears to all be there. The front seats and at least one door panel could use some recovering. The dash and rear seat is looking good for an original ’65.

The car has been parked for a few months. The odometer is showing 29,854 miles. Of course we don’t know how many times it might have rolled over. The owner put a new battery in and she cranked right up and idles smoothly. This was one of the owner’s favorite drivers and now health challenges are forcing the sale. He has a clear title in hand. It appears this Dart could be driver fairly easily and if you wish it might not take much to make her hit the bullseye!
