I would say that some better photos would be in order. Also, is the repaint in a factory 66 color?

Finally, to my eye, both front fenders look kinda weird behind their respective bumpers..for some reason they both look pushed in, and the wheel arches look wavy. Maybe better photos would clarify this.

Never cared for the Landau,I preferred the regular hardtop. But make it a convertible with the tonneau and you have one of my bucket list cars!! Those full length sequential taillights…OOOOOHHH!!! :-)

Totally agree – my favorite year, but convertible please with pale yellow over white with white top.

Love these 4 door Thunderbirds. Have wanted one for years. Not a huge fan of the 57 Tbird color on this car.

There seems to be confusion in 66 about how to tell the difference between a Town Coupe and a Landau Coupe. Is there proof this is a legit Landau ??

Needs more pics especially engine and bottom.

I had a 66 town Landau way back when… my 1st car…..it had wood grain inserts on the doors In addition to the the over head console town coupe does not… but what looks strange to me is the steering wheel.. Mine had a fuller steering wheel with my cruis control in the middle…this does not

I always thought the Town Hardtop (Blind quarter, painted roof with a Thunderbird insignia) is body type 63C. The Landau (Blind quarter, vinyl roof with carriage scroll) was body type 63D. I looked at a rough 66′ recently with the Landau top, but the data tag said it was a 63C. Either way, the 428 is an excellent find. I am not a fan of the color, and I never liked the Landau ‘wood’ interior trim.
