Ruined, but what was put in could also be removed and at this point I’d put a Subaru boxer engine in there, as many of you know I have no use for electric cars for all kinds of reasons and will hold off until I’m forced to go that route. Other wise nice little beetle I miss the one I had in high school.

Other than loving the throating sound of the cherry bombs on my 69 Buick GS 400 and the wimp noise of the once owned Buick Grand National I still like gasoline as a power source with those engines and of course the big blocks of the days when I was young and stupid (now old and stupid and going into 3rd childhood LOL I am not set on electric and definitely on computer controlled driving what are your thoughts on hydrogen powered vehicles? there is a movement out there supporting it and investor seekers for production makes more sense to me than electric as we are already breaking the grid with a severely outdated and non upgraded power in this country

Never was fan of any VW or Bettle but in my personal opinion should have remained on its stock original engine as I am Also against any electric vehicle !!

Not a expert on electric cars but I would think the extra weight of those batteries would offset the savings on fuel. Plus you have lost the back seat for passengers. Nice looking Bug but not my cup of tea, I wish him luck in selling it.

I wouldn’t purchase a new EV, but this looks like a cool ride… the idea that it’s an electric Bug seems fitting.

The white wire dangling up front makes it crappy. Batteries out in the open? Crappy. I see nothing redeeming here. Bet he’s selling it because he’s sick of it going dead before he gets home. Sucker #2………C’mon down!

what an excellent car ,twice the original power and none of that heinous racket and probably 5 times more reliable and much less chance of catching on fire
