Greenwood Flair: 1989 Chevy Corvette C4 6-Speed

Offered for sale here on eBay is this well-kept and lightly modified 1989 Chevrolet Corvette C4, outfitted with the eye-catching Greenwood body package and equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission. With 94,500 miles, a long list of recent upgrades, and a clean title, this white-on-black coupe is a perfect example of the raw, analog appeal of late-’80s American sports cars, especially with the added flair of a Greenwood body kit.

This particular C4 was originally sold in Oklahoma and spent much of its life garage-kept under the care of its second owner before being purchased in 2017 by the current seller. Since then, it’s had just about every system touched and maintained with an open checkbook approach. Major service items include two clutch replacements (2018 and 2019), a new fuel pump and sending unit, fresh water pump and belts, upgraded K&N intake filter, and new Sumitomo HTR Z tires (rear in 2018, front in 2022). Suspension components were inspected and tightened, and it received a full alignment as recently as 2022.

Inside, the Corvette presents just as nicely. The seller had the interior completely re-carpeted and installed new seats with fresh foam, along with clean black floor mats. The dash is crack-free, and the air conditioning blows cold. While the stereo works, the seller suggests a modern Bluetooth unit would be a worthwhile upgrade if daily driving is the goal. Also included are the original keys for the T-top, wheels, trunk, and gas cap, plus a complete record of receipts dating back to 2017.

The Greenwood exterior kit, famous for giving Corvettes a wide, aggressive stance, looks right at home on this white C4, and the paintwork, though not original, is rated a solid 8/10 by the seller. It’s clear this Corvette was built and maintained with driving enjoyment in mind rather than static collection, and it shows well in the photos provided. A set of alloy wheels, sport seats, power accessories, and the rare 6-speed manual make this a fun, fast, and distinctive American GT car that’s ready for its next chapter.

Obviously it was cared for and not just driven into the ground. About the only thing i would do is a nice week end of sprucing up the engine bay. Hope it finds a nice home. Euh two clutches, hope it was a defect on the first replacement

Never cared for these add on body packages. The lines of the C4 are beautiful enough as it is without all the extras.

I go along with that completely. I think the C4 shape is elegant and lean. It doesn’t need add on’s. Probably a nice enough car though for someone who likes something different.
