It has been one year since we launched Barn Finds in 2011! Some very interesting automobiles have graced these pages in that time. We have learned a lot and made some very good friends through the whole process. We are so grateful for all of those who have contributed to the site in some way. Whether you submitted your own finds or left comments, we thank you. Barn Finds would not be what it is today without you. So, to celebrate this occasion we have decided to add some exciting new features…
We receive emails everyday from our readers with cars that they feel are Barn Finds worthy. We would love to feature all of them, but there just isn’t enough time in the day. To solve this problem, we have launched a forum! The new forum will make it possible to share all your finds with everyone else without having to wait for us. It will also create a sense of community among us by providing a place for everyone to share advice and stories.
Signing up is quick and easy. Then you can get involved as much or little as you like. You can add information to your profile so other barn finders can get to know you. Then, you can share your own discoveries. There is even a place to discuss restoration and preservation topics. This whole forum thing is new to us, so we are sure there will be many changes as we all learn this together. We hope you enjoy it and please let us know what you think. Happy Birthday Barn Finds!
I will take it’
Happy Birthday, Barn Finds!
PS: I’m racing 24 Hours of LeMons in a week at Buttonwillow – feel free to send me stickers, and I’ll plaster them on my racer :-)
This is a great site, glad to help in any way I can. Happy Birthday!
Enjoy the site so much so that I created a folder and file the daily postings for reference,
Several of the cars have ended up on my ebay watch; so far no successful bid for me yet but who knows…? (Still having a fit over the 47 Allard, the Deven, and my old buddy’s Gullwing in Montreal.)
~ happy first birthday! many happy returns and thank you.
Love the site and love the Lancia Aurelia-like cabriolet wrapped up in ribbon to celebrate birthday #1. May there be many more!
Thank You for all the happy and sometimes sad pictures of some of the most beautiful pieces of machinery ever created. Love your site and Happy Birthday. Good Luck with your new forum.
Love the site. Every guy dreams of finding that ultimate Barn Find! Thanks for sharing some great old vehicles!
I’ve really enjoyed the website. It’s a wonderful way to pass time and learn about different cars. The comments are often as informative as the articles.
Good start! You have handled the “growing pains” well. I’m hooked ;)
Your vision and intense start-up efforts have served you well! I congratulate you, and look forward to these new enhancements….I think your new format will be even more “addictive” as there will be even more cars to view and stories to be told. Also, I like your honest, humble style as you craft this awesome service.
Love the little blue car with the bow on top!! What make and year is it??
