Have You Seen This Alfa Romeo?

Alfa Race Car

Disclosure: This site may receive compensation from some link clicks and purchases.

From Kyle S – Greetings Barn Finds people, I am searching for my dad’s old 1967 Alfa Romeo Duetto race car. His was one of two identically prepared race cars originally from Riverside, California. My pop, Glen Shepard, raced his car out of Overland Park, Kansas throughout the first half of the 1970’s. The car was sold sometime around 1975 and has been missing since then. Would love to find it again!

No. This is not the car, but it sure is a beauty. I have had my eye on this car and would love to race it. Thanks, Matt, for bringing it to my attention.

Thanks, Matt. It’s not the one. I’m familiar with this car and would love to race it, but it’s not my dad’s.

Odds are someone in the Alfa owner’s club knows the car…

Thanks for the suggestion, Victor. I have asked about the car on the Alfa Romeo Bulletin Board. No luck. I did find the sister car, however.

Those American Racing ‘silverstone” Wheels look great. Just a bit different from the typical Mini-lite.

I was just a little kid when my dad had the car and the wheels are definitely one of the things I remember about the car.

Kudos to Barn Finds for posting this up!

A great thing to do for the community. While those ‘Trailer Bringers’ have become blinded by money and pandering to the 1%, it’s cool to have a comfortable place where real car guys can be with real car guys.

    It speaks volumes!

…. what I’ve been saying about that site for years.
Randy has been deleting political incorrect comments for years in order to please sellers and now he’s auctioning vehicles to the rich and famous….
NOT a car guy in my opinion, anyway, next.

Barn finds is the place to be if you REALLY like old cars !

Did the car ever have the drive shaft break and blow a hole in the drive shaft/transmission tunnel?
