Hot Rod Donor: 1986 Chevrolet Corvette

1986 Corvette

We wouldn’t normally get too excited about an eighties Corvette, but with classic car values on the rise, any interesting project with a $2k asking price is worth a look. The fuel-injected 350 wont start and it’s attached to an automatic transmission. It is claimed to have ran with parked though so it might be worth the gamble. There are some cosmetic issues to address too like the rear bumper and broken glass roof. It might not be worth restoring, but I’m sure someone would like to stick the drive train in their hot rod. What would you do with it?  The car is located in Albuquerque, New Mexico and is listed here on craigslist for $2,150.

This is a prime example why Chevrolet should have stopped making these. It started in the mid seventies and continued for decades………but they wouldn’t stop…………It’s embarrassing.

As much as I do not care for this body style at all, there is absolutely zero excuse for it have been treated this horribly! I don’t care if it’s a Daihatsu or a Hugo, you still gotta show it some respect!!
As for the car, after all the disrespect, hope someone buys it, and someone will, it is amazingly priced reasonably. But, I am NOT that individual!!!!
To whomever, it would be intersesting to see what becomes of it. So if you are part of the “Family”, and you buy it, keep us in the loop!
