Hot Rod Future? 1952 Willys Aero

52 w

Here is a nice looking ’52 Willys in Redmond, Oregon listed here on craigslist for $3K. I have seen restored ones listed for $10,000+.  The owner claims this to be a very solid, straight and original car. There are California black plates on the car, so we don’t know how long the car has been in Oregon, but it’s been in Oregon for at least the past 35 years as the seller claims it has been in a barn for the past 35 years and was last registered in 1975. Once again, as we have seen many times, this owner’s “interests” have changed which could be good for you!

The body looks good, the fit and trim appears to be in order as well as the glass.  The interior appears to be all there based on what can be seen on the one image provided.  There is no mention and/or images of the drive-train or its condition so I would suggest some questions be posed it you are interested.  I have a feeling that she is wearing the original paint?

Cheers,

Robert

I’d be happy just to have the AAA cal black plates – how cool!

Back in the ’60s these were uncommon cars so I can only imagine how few are left. Depending on what’s up with this one it would not be bad to put in a 4 or 6 cylinder Jeep engine and keep it “all in the family”

I think there must be more of these on the drag strip than on the street. They were not expensive or particularly well built cars but you can make a drag car out of a railroad track…….it would be nice if it was left original.
