This 1948 Frazer (although it’s called a Kaiser in the ad, it’s actually a Frazer and says so on the dashboard) has been stored for “decades” by a former AMC/Jeep dealer who is reducing their collection. It is located in Hays, Kansas and is offered for sale here on eBay with a buy-it-now of $6,400. The seller is also entertaining offers. The most exciting thing about this car is that it’s rust free! It’s been stored on cement in a steel shed, and I’m guessing based on the flat tire in this picture right in that spot. The seller states that the interior and exterior are in good shape, and with the six-cylinder engine you should at least be able to keep up with traffic, although acceleration will be very leisurely (~25 seconds 0-60). This was the top-of-the-line model for Kaiser-Frazer in 1948 and the seller states was priced similarly to Cadillacs. I’m sure there can’t be that many around, although I found one source that states that almost 50,000 1948 Frazers were built. Would you take this one home and wash it off?

Couldn’t they take a few minutes and hose the dirt off this car and take a few more pictures? If all the add says is true, this is a wonderful example of a Frazier.
Agreed, put air in the tires and wash the dirt off. Looks like it might shine up nice too. Are you proud that your indoor stored car has bird crap on it?
No where does it say that it runs ? or at least turn over, maybe an oversight but,,,,,,,,,,
He also says it has an automatic.. they didn’t have automatics in their cars until 1951.
…like mine, which has a 4 speed Hydra Matic.
I want it, but only because my dad owned a light blue 47 Fraser Manhattan when I was born and kept it till I was 4. I actually have memories of it. And pictures.
I live in Hays, Ks and shared this with a friend who collects cars. He went and looked last night and his only comments to me were “very rough” and “I pass”.
