If subtlety isn’t your thing, this 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Coupe definitely won’t blend into the background. Listed on eBay by a dealer in South Carolina, this C2 Corvette leans hard into individuality, wearing a bright pink exterior over a maroon interior and leaning on classic big-presence Corvette hardware underneath. Thanks for the tip, Curvette!

According to the listing, this is a 1965 Corvette Stingray Coupe equipped with a V8 and a four-speed manual transmission. The seller describes it as a strong-running example with factory power steering and power brakes, along with Positraction and four-wheel disc brakes—features that made mid-year Corvettes such serious performance machines in their day. An original AM/FM radio is also noted, adding a touch of period-correct detail inside the cabin.

The car is presented as structurally sound, with the seller stating it has never been wrecked and does not suffer from frame rust or body stress cracks. Those are important claims for any C2 Corvette, given how critical the chassis and fiberglass condition are to long-term ownership and value. Mechanically, it’s positioned as a turn-key driver rather than a project, with emphasis placed on how well it runs and drives.

Of course, the defining feature here is the paint. The seller calls it a “one of a kind” Pink Panther Corvette, and whether that color choice is love-it-or-hate-it will depend entirely on the buyer. What’s clear is that this is not a car meant to quietly disappear at a cruise night. Combined with the maroon interior, it creates a look that’s unapologetically bold and very different from the more common mid-year Corvette color combinations.

The asking price is presented as negotiable, with the seller openly encouraging offers as part of a broader business sale. Flexible purchase options, including layaway and financing referrals, are also mentioned, suggesting the dealer is motivated to move inventory rather than sit on it.

As a whole, this 1965 Corvette Stingray Coupe isn’t being marketed as a numbers-chasing, concours-correct example. Instead, it’s positioned as a fully sorted, eye-catching classic meant for someone who wants the C2 Corvette driving experience paired with a standout appearance. For the right buyer, this could be a conversation-starting weekend car that delivers both performance and personality in equal measure.

Intriguing, but 350HP valve covers? Dealer could spend a little more verbiage describing the car and less about the deals. The price…well…looking for a buyer in a haystack. A PINK haystack…
No mention of the radiused/flaired rear wheel wells adding to the “uniqueness” of this Corvette; maybe a Mary Kay salesperson would be interested in it, LOL!! GLWTA!! :-)
Front and rear wheel wells flared and 63 hood. Who knows what engine and transmission. At minimum it needs repainted (cost around $20k) and that’s without undoing the custom bodywork. Way too much money for a messed up C2 coupe. $70k will get you a pretty nice driver with correct drivetrain and stock appearance. You need to buy this at about $35k to make the numbers work and do a lot of the resto yourself.
This seller/dealer has had his cars featured countless times over the years. His business has and will be for sale until the end of time. It’s more of a junkyard than dealer, the prices are too high, he has 455 items listed with a total of 9 sales over the last 3 months.
You could make a case for this car at a substantial discount. Other than the color, which would always have been divisive, it doesn’t appear that the workmanship was shoddy. This was a product of its time, just leave it as it is and drive it, but not at its current asking price.

You noticed the prices too..there are other C2’s on the same eBay page for less and in nicer shape. The seller can’t even get the color right. It’s a loud magenta, not anywhere near maroon. While not my favorite color, I could live with it.
Might look better with red line tires.
Dayam that price be high!
I could repaint it for a couple of thousand, or just have it wrapped for the same $
That’s probably the best way to go but it’s still only worth about $35k but at least you’d have a ‘70s period correct hot rod to drive. I don’t think this guy is going to let it go for anywhere near that though.
It’s probably a fun driver If It weren’t for the possibility that people would see you in it
Well, that sure is different. I think the price is a bit much.
Is that Peter Sellars pipe I smell ?
Pepto bismo
Priced for permanent personal possession.
I do believe the seller is looking for a individual with a very bad case of Pink Eye. Hoping they won’t see the color. Full discloser I own a Vette. I feel they are the most abused and mistreated classic car ever built !
The most valuable thing on this Vette is the master cylinder & the telescopic steering column, value about 800 to 1K dollars each used!
75k another crack head on dope. it will cost 150k to bring this back to normal if so desired. dealers need to get real and get their heads out of their a**
Looks like a ’63 Vette hood in place of the ’65 Vette hood.
Not so pretty in pink.
Maybe the owner can sell it to someone that is actually colorblind? Ridiculous asking price though.
The only other pink Corvette that I have seen was in Syracuse NY. There was a couple that had his and hers Corvettes his was black and hers was pink.
When you personalize a car you lose a lot of value is corvette was probably painted in the 70s when you could buy it for $3000.00.
Makes me think of the Rolling Stones…
“I see a pink Vette and I want it painted black…”
Okay ~ Panther Pink (a Mopar color) on burgundy interior. What an atrocious combination. Aftermarket valve covers say 350 HP but is it a real L79? We aren’t informed of that detail. Many other wrong things on this car as well. $75,000?? That’s about $45,000 too much. He says make him an offer but he isn’t even in the right ballpark to begin negotiations. And why do I have to “confirm” every time I comment on a car in this site?
Someone please take pity on this poor car. Buy it and paint it a normal color.
Seller has a lot of bad reviews on eBay.
Needs the interior from the fake Dino!
