Raven Black: 1979 Ford Bronco Ranger XLT

Bidding has been strong for this 1979 Ford Bronco Ranger XLT. This 58,000 mile Raven Black Ford Bronco is listed here on eBay with less than 12 hours in the listing. It is currently bid to $34,000. The Bronco is four wheel drive, has air conditioning and the large V8 engine is backed by a 4 speed manual transmission. The vehicle is located in Caldwell, Idaho. It is being sold by a dealer.

The Bronco is powered by a 400 cubic inch V8 engine that looks immaculate under the hood. The engine is fed through a 2 barrel carburetor and is said to be the original, numbers matching motor. From the factory, the engine was rated at 156 horsepower. The four wheel drive system has locking hubs and NP205 transfer case with 2WD as well as 4 High and 4 Low options. I did not know this was an option but the dealer states that is is equipped with the factory handling package which included sway bars. The Bronco is riding on Alcoa polished wheels and BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A tires.

Like the engine compartment, the interior looks almost new. The truck is equipped with factory air conditioning and a power rear window. There is a locking console between the two high back bucket seats. The carpet and wood grain dash appear immaculate and well presented. For sound, the Bronco has a Bluetooth Retro Radio. I have one of these in my 1979 Corvette and it works great. Every time I get in the car, it automatically syncs and starts playing the songs on my Apple iPhone playlist which is usually a heavy does of 38 Special, Styx, Foreigner, Night Ranger and Boston.

The Bronco originally resided in Arizona which is known for little rust and decay due to the dry climate. The truck comes with its removable hardtop, owner’s manual and removable rear bench seat. The dealer offers shipping and financing. This Bronco looks like a well cared for 4WD that has plenty of fun left in it.

Nice one but in my opinion,I don’t like modern headlights in older vehicles ruins the look.

It looks like the seller does the same with every other vehicle with the same headlights listed.

Nice Bronco, like the manual transmission.
