Seller’s Description: This 2-year body style is uncommon to find anymore. And the triple white is even rarer. With the exception of a respray by a previous owner, a mild cam, and dual Flowmaster exhaust it is a very original car. Great restoration candidate. Unfortunately, it’s not my cup of tea, I’m a child of the 80s and just not become that attached to the car so I’d like to find an owner that will love it as it deserves.
Body Condition: The car looks great from 20 feet or so but there is some panel rust around a couple wheel wells and the back glass. When the previous owner had it painted he did not put the soft top back on but all of the trim is on the car. The undercarriage is unbelievably clean, no rust anywhere under the car.
Mechanical Condition: Starts well, even when cold. Runs very strong will chirp when shifting into 2nd if you get into it some. Has a great sound with the dual Flowmaster. Issues include an unreliable fuel gauge, sloppy shifter linkage, and small seep at the oil pan.
We definitely appreciate Robert T’s situation with this Pontiac, sometimes you just don’t connect with a classic the way you think you are going to. We are just glad he realized it and wants to see it go to a good home. If you are the one to give it said home, be sure to take a closer look at his ad!

Handsome car, a beautiful car, and the condition is superb. Love the triple white. My prediction is the owner will regret his mistake some day after the car is gone.
One of my favorite styled cars ever! Needs some tender loving care to fix it’s flaws but still a solid survivor of Pontiac’s golden era.
My ’69 Grand Prix Model J has 10k original miles. It is a “survivor” except motor detailed and undercoated.
Nice ride. Wish I was able to “add to a collection.” It should sell quickly. I also wish Pontiacs were still manufactured. But, of course, if wishes were horses we all could ride. If road apples were fuel we’d never run out.
Where is the name letters on the trunk lid? and there is no front fender trim either, may have had more work done than is shows.
