With 86k miles on the clock and having been recently serviced, this Caprice Wagon should be a fantastic driver for years to come! And to keep things interesting, there’s an LT1 V8 under the hood. It isn’t perfect, but it looks to be pretty close to it. Reader Michael J needs it gone and has listed it here on eBay as a no reserve 3-day auction! The current bid is just $577 and it’s located near Orlando, Florida.
This Caprice’s previous owner purchased it new and clearly didn’t use it much over the past decade. Michael claims that everything works, the only flaws are with the trim. He just installed a new fuel pump, as well as a complete R134a AC system! That should help keep you comfortable while you cruise around Flordia. And boy, will you be comfortable in this wagon. Just look at those overstuffed seats. With the rear jump seat, you’ll also have room to haul the whole family with ease
The LT1 350 V8 is a detuned version of the engine found in the same year of Corvette. It was rated at 260 horsepower, which isn’t crazy but is enough to be fun. This one is said to run great and is ready for the road. I won’t lie, it’s a bit tempting to fly the family to Florida for a Vacation to Wally World and to pick this thing up! Heck, if bidding doesn’t go up too much more, it might be cheaper to buy this than to rent a car for the week.
I won’t lie, I’m seriously tempted by this one! It’s the right year with the right engine and it’s had all the hard work done. With just a little work, you could easily have it looking like new inside and out. Would you drive the tires off this Chevy or stash it somewhere safe? So, will you be bidding on it?

Sweet looking wagon! I remember this generation Chevy Caprice. I found it more attractive than the earlier gen Caprice it replaced.
Nice, I have a 1990 Buick estate wagon , nothing like a wagon.
A compass on the dash: perfect. (Now a little over $3k and well worth it, I sez.)
Nice looking. I won’t be bidding because my garage is full and my wallet isn’t.
It is tempting though.
Why oh why do I keep doing this! Im sure I’ll be outbid,if not, third wagon I found thanks to Barn Finds, wife will probably ban me from here before long.
Would love to have this classic. I love big cars. I would be surprised if this clean wagon doesn’t sell for at least 8k+. I have a 1995 Buick Roadmaster hearse with just over 94k on it. The LT1 moves this heavy car very well.
