Running Collection No Longer Needed

00U0U_fLBy38OAcC7_600x450

A complete collection of luxury classics is up for sale and listed here on craigslist in Detroit.  A “classic car collector no longer needs these cars” (do we ever really “need” them?) “is selling his whole collection.”  The title with the ad is “Classic collection – $19,000”.

There is very little information provided with the ad.  We don’t know which car is listed a $19K. All the cars are said to run, in good shape and stored, get this, in a heated garage! This is somewhere around Detroit so that is understandable.

As you can see, some of the collection does get out of the heated garage.

There isn’t a list of cars in the collection that are being offered. A phone number is provided, so a quick phone call could provide a complete list of what’s available.

The listing states that the seller is highly motivated and you can request more pictures. Those that are interested should make a call and get some more details. Who knows, there maybe a car or two that “you need”.

Cheers,
Robert

Hmmmm…..3 M-Bs and 1 old Buick, a ‘classic collection’ kept in a heated garage except when left out in the snow, shown in photos taken in different seasons by different cameras, listed from Metro Detroit, one car with a British Columbia, Canada plate with the name of a Vancouver firm, all for $19K from a highly motivated seller…..

Doesn’t pass the sniff test. Send him 19K and see what you get.

    Ad has been deleted .

I have noticed lately that people not proficient in internet sites are trying their luck in listing stuff and it usually turns out worse than when only a phone number would be given..
    Just my 2c

Was that old 220S part of the deal and only 1 photo of that car ?

Of course tastes can differ, but that two-tone paint pattern was never offered like that, and neither were those awful colors.
