The seller of this project claims it is rust free, but it is looking a little rusty to me. Listed here on craigslist and parked in Orlando, Florida with a flexible price of $3,500. It is said to be a barn find that is rust free and originally from California. The missing front bumper and the splash pan were kept by the previous owner. The current “patina” is interesting to say the least.
As you can see, the paint is looking rather unusual. I see a few spots that look like rust to me, but perhaps that’s just the photos?
The owner says that he has too many projects and this one has to go. There are no details on the mileage and/or the condition of the engine, although it is clearly not in the car.
The wood trim is sitting in the wagon. We don’t know if all is accounted for or not, so you will want to ask the seller about that!
The rear bumper is in place. The owner, Matt, asked that you please leave your name and number as this separates the serious buyer from the tire kickers. We would like to know how much, if any, or all, of the glass is missing or just removed? Maybe you could pick this one up for a decent price for a great winter project?
Motor-on,
Robert
I’m a dummy and my eyesight isn’t the best (at least without glasses or contact lenses) but what the hell is that chrome-plated thing mounted horizontally at the front of this old Willys if it’s not a bumper?
Believe he meant the original was kept by the former owner making this a non original replacement but he states original ones are not too hard to find
I’d love this if it was easier to find ones in my country
over the years I have seen only a few advertised but all were not anywhere as good as this one in fact were basket cases
I like it but I would like it better if it was a 4X4.
Thanks for the detailed interior shots. I do like the finish on the sides. I see some rust holes on the hood.
Bring a fastener.
