The guys over at Bring a Trailer just contacted us to see if any of our readers could dig up some information on this old Crosley H-Mod race car. 1949 Crosley H Mod Race Car Family Crest

This car was found in a field a while back and has changed hands a few times since so it has been hard to track down many details. The biggest tip seems to be this Tyrrell family crest painted on the body. Beyond that there is not much to go off of. Anyone here recognize this car?

Forgotten Fiberglass also has some information from the current and previous owners. Even without racing history this fiberglass special could be tons of fun restored and it would be sure to draw lots of attention at any race or event.

Tom Tyrrell was a racer in Chicago area but drove bigger cars, dont think it has any connection to Tom.
