As some of you likely know, I am helping to clear out a large collection of salvage and project vehicles from a private owner. You can read more about the collection here. Old VW Buses continue to be popular, and the last one available for sale has found a new home. The 1974 VW Bus was a diamond in the rough, with solid bones, a clean interior, and a motor that turned over with ease.

The seller was willing to work out a fast sale so the new owner could snag a good rate with a shipper heading to Florida en route from North Carolina. All of that came together this weekend and the orange Bay Window was loaded up via enclosed transport. We still have plenty of vehicles that would make excellent projects, including a ’55 Chevy pickup, several Mercedes-Benz W108 parts cars, and a fun and complete Saab 96.
