This morning we stumbled upon this Saab 96 combo on Saabnet.com. The seller does not include much information, but they do mention that there are four cars and each is complete. There is one ’69, two ’71s, and one ’72. These cars will need full restorations, but at $2k this could be a good deal for a Saab enthusiast.
It would be tempting to keep the best one of the bunch and sell the rest off individually to pay for the project. Then use the good one to build a rally car. Saab may have been known for their chainsaw sound and blue smoke, but these later v4 cars were formable rally cars in their day and they can make fun road rally cars today.
Is the Buick included?? Looks like a ’51.
Sooo tempting have way too many saab projects as is though.
the 2 strokes were also great rally cars ! I had several and also great ice racers !!!
