Hemi Cuda Package Deal!

1970 Plymouth Cudas

This looks like a barn I’d like to visit! This seller has three Barracudas, two of which are Hemi Cudas and the other is a 440 6-Pack! All three are restored, but how often do you find a barn with three highly sought after muscle cars all being offered in the same auction? That’s right, the seller is trying to unload all the cars in one auction, which you can find here on eBay in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Bidding is already to $275,000, but considering just one Hemi Cuda can go for well over $200k, this seems like it could end up being an amazing deal!

1970 Plymouth Cuda 440

It must be amazing when a Cuda 440 6-Pack is the least interesting car in your collection. This seller definitely has good tastes and it appears that they haven’t spared any expense with regard to restoring and maintaining their cars!

If I had the money, I’d be all over this trio. The 426 Hemi is one of my all time favorite engines. It’s loud, powerful and nice to look at it. Sadly, I don’t have this kind of money to spend on a house, more less a collection of Mopars. Of course, if bidding doesn’t go crazy, you might be able to sell two of the cars and keep one for yourself and not have too much into it. What do you think, is this package going to be a killer deal?

All 3 will go 750K I’m sure. Not at all worth it in my opinion. Lots of other stuff to do with that kind of money.

The guys that will spend that kind of money have already done the other stuff………

I hope whoever buys these is able to have someone inspect them first. These look like high level restorations but photos don’t always tell the whole story.

do they really fear sellers or consignment fees so much that they do not want to take the time to research who could sell their cars for them and/or where to sell their cars for them?

ebay has sellers fees too and they are substantial (assuming the cars are sold on ebay)

i would think that auctioning off each of these separately would be the way to maximize their value. if you think that one person would be interested in purchasing and holding all 3 – that would be a needle in a haystack.

if time or immediate money is an issue aren’t there better avenues than the ‘bay?

my guess is that they 3 are “sold” off auction where the sale becomes buyer beware. there is no recourse for returns. the seller takes the chance that the deal they agreed to falls through and the car is not sold. and once it is sold outside of ebay there is no enforcing the sale (although from what i hear ebay does a poor job of enforcing the sale even if it is a sale within ebay).

There are many high-end collectable dealerships that will be interested, imo!

Auction still has 2 days to run…….and the reserve is unmet. Be patient………..there is time.

    Many times sellers use ebay to “test the market” before pulling the auction. Then they later turn up at one of the big auction houses hoping for really big money. Whenever I see this on a big ticket auction;

“we reserve the right to cancel any eBay listing at any time”

it makes me think that’s what they are up to.

    But maybe I’m just jaded.

You might be right. Sure is odd that someone would sell all three together like that. Would love to get Mark Wormer of Graveyard carZ input on these cars. I noticed they sprayed over the VIN tags on all ’em, which isn’t really correct, is it?

If you are talking about the fender tag’s, yes painted is correct.

this ad is a fake; it shows up a few times a year. it is a stolen photo from a different site. and really, as if this is actually true, he wouldn’t need ebay to unload these

I’d have to have another set of rims for each car.
Would not want to burn up that show car rubber!
(Yes, there would be time at WOT for each one, and HP overcomes traction!)

      LOL! I guess so.

What I meant was a guy with deep pockets who will buy them at the “right” price and flip them at an auction.
