This tiny little French microcar looks like you could put it in a large closet for storage! It’s located in Hopatcong, New Jersey and is for sale here on eBay with a buy-it-now of $5,000 but inviting offers. Short of a Peel, I haven’t seen many cars this small ever. The body appears to be relatively solid and minor spots of rust have been treated to prevent them getting worse. The motor will turn freely and the auction even includes a spare tire and wheel. However, the buyer is going to have to source a carburetor and figure out what to do about a title (although the importation paperwork is present). I’m not even sure I would fit in this car—would you? And do you want to?

Why worry about the title – its not likely to be operated on public highways anyway. At $5k it will probably take another $15k to complete it. I wouldn’t want to be in a microcar for $20k but then I don’t really follow the microcar market. Those Messerschmitts have a very strong following so who knows, maybe this would be a worthwhile project for “micro” nut?
If you visit a lawn a garden equipment repair shop, you may find a carburetor that would work. LOL
I guess these cars were used on the roads in France back in the day. I’d hate to cross paths with a cement mixer if I was driving this.
It looks like the car Grew dives in the movie Despicable Me.
It may appear small but I’m sure i saw twenty clowns jump out of one of these at the circus !!!!
Josh already featured it last time on 29th October 2013 – see your related finds below or
