The seller of this 1960 Sabra Sports Roadster claims that it only has two miles on the odometer. That is right, two miles! We would want proof of that before bidding, but if you are interested you can find it here on eBay with bidding starting at $2,500 and a BIN of $45,000!
The photos and description on the eBay listing does not give a two mile car any justice, so we have our doubts. Still if it is true, this could be the lowest mileage Sabra in existence. We featured another one of these a while back that was restored and it went for $13,000. The BIN price of this survivor seems very high, but there is something to be said for originality. These cars are very rare and this seller will have to find just the right collector to move it.
Me? Skeptical? Suspicious?
If the low milage itself doesn’t beg questions, then the condition difference between the brass ID plate and the rest of the car leaves me a bit skeptical.
Seller has 0 feedback and 0 sales… beware.
Excellent points all.
Not to mention the shoddy photos…
With only something like 74 made the first year (1960) it would be very rare. Seems like a cool car. If it can be properly documented. It has value in any case. It’s just a matter of where. Truly a barn “find”.
I sent a question to him about the mileage and lack of feedback and photos, we’ll see if they respond.
