“Uncut fenders.” That’s the mantra uttered by Ford Bronco enthusiasts everywhere, and this 1970 model is one of the few that’s popped up recently with the rear haunches left untrimmed. Even better, it runs and drives – pretty well, according to the seller – and comes with a variety of new parts to fix the rusty bits past the point of salvation. Find it here on eBay with a $9,750 Buy-It-Now.
Yet another Georgia vehicle, looking like it could have come from the collection I’m helping to wind down in the northern part of the state. The back of the truck looks sound enough, although the lighting isn’t great. That old-school Georgia license plate offers some indication as to how long it’s been sitting.
The seller claims he popped in a new radiator and began driving the Bronco around the property. The inline-six is the original motor, propelled with a three-speed on the column. While it looks pretty dingy under the hood, it just appears to be surface rust.
The list of new body parts/panels that are included with the sale gives some indication as to the rusty areas: floor pans, hood, bed sheet metal, and rockers left and right. Thankfully, with those replacement pieces included, the next phase of work for the new owner will be that much easier to dive into – and no work needed to the rear fenders.
To quote RINGO STARR this looks like it’s spent time in an octopus‘s garden .
Super high priced for a rusty 6 cylinder truck.
Another over priced barn yard find. I love this generation Bronco. Just restored one and will be starting another project soon its a 71 half cub picked up for 6000 that is pretty solid has V8 engine and automatic. No way is this six cylinder pulling rust around a field worth that kind of money maybe 3-4 thousand but not 10000 dollars.
It is now bud.
Here, try this instead:

yes, it aint a barn find, but looks like a better deal than this rusted bronco.
No I wouldn’t buy it either, but these are rising in value (it doesn’t make a lot of sense to me either, but them’s the facts), so if you ever wanted one now would be the time to buy.
The upside:
– it’s rusty, but not too rusty according to the seller, and more importantly, according to the pictures
– it comes with some new body panels
– it runs and drives
– the seller will consider lower offers
– did I mention that prices for these are rising?
The downside:
– it’s not a Landie, which have become valuable lately
It’s getting to where a poor feller can’t even buy an early clapped out Bronco let alone a nice one…😔
Agreed my friend. That’s why a lot of us in our 40’s are moving to the “undesirable” late 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s cars. These Broncs kick ass, but $10k just to get the keys to this clap trap doesn’t make a lot of sense to me.
Way over priced.
Having the 6 cylinder motor is the death knell for getting much more than a third of the asking price. Due to the fact that it needs a complete restoration, I think $2500 is max.
Does it come with coupons for free tetanus shots?
I think the extra $ (add on) is for the bulk head & frnt bench seat (C last pic) as that yr didn’t havem.
