This 1969 Chevrolet C20 seems to have something to offer everyone. Its lack of rust makes it ideal for a cosmetic refresh, while preservation is a viable option. Its engine bay features an updated LS V8, and its interior is extremely tidy. Therefore, it is unsurprising that the C20 has generated significant interest since the seller listed it here on eBay in Watervliet, New York. Intense bidding has pushed the price to $6,098, which is below the reserve.
Chevrolet’s Second Generation C/K range enjoyed a relatively short production life, sitting on showroom floors from 1967 until 1972. The first owner ordered this C20 in 1969, choosing Medium Olive Green and Pure White as the exterior color combination. The Pickup’s history is unknown, but it carries the appearance of a classic that has worked to earn a living. There is no evidence of abuse, just aging paint and a few areas of mild surface corrosion. The lack of significant panel damage would make a repaint relatively straightforward, and it is a task that could potentially be undertaken in a home workshop. What this vehicle lacks is rust. The seller had the floors, rockers, and front inner wheel wells replaced, with the remaining panels and the frame exhibiting no signs of problems. The glass is in good order, and the trim looks acceptable for any driver-grade build.
It is unclear which engine and transmission the first owner chose to power this C20, but that is now a moot point. Lifting the hood reveals a 6.0-liter LS truck V8, backed by a four-speed 4L60 automatic transmission. The electronics for the V8 are controlled by a Holley Terminator system, with fuel feeding from a new tank with the filler located behind the rear license plate holder. We can only speculate on the power produced by the LS, but my research seems to indicate that a figure around or above 300hp should be a realistic expectation. Potent buyers can consider this C20 as a turnkey proposition. The seller indicates that it runs and drives, and it appears they are willing to supply a confirming video to interested parties.
One area of this Pickup requiring little work is the interior. The painted surfaces exhibit the same level of wear found on the exterior, although it appears that the soft trim and carpet have been replaced. Occupants can sink into the Honda Odyssey seats, with the factory bench included for those preferring authenticity. There are holes in the dash that could be filled with an ashtray and a stereo, while the air conditioning system requires hoses and a charge to blow ice-cold.
There is a lot to like about this 1969 Chevrolet C20 Pickup, and it seems that plenty of people have a vision for it. The lack of rust and panel damage means that a repaint would be fairly straightforward, although leaving it cosmetically untouched would be a viable choice that guarantees it will draw crowds. The updated drivetrain would make it an accomplished load carrier, tow vehicle, or open road cruiser. It has attracted forty bids, with the remaining listing statistics suggesting that the figure will climb significantly before the end draws near. What would you be willing to pay for this C20?

Originally equipped with the 350 according to the service parts sticker.
Used to plow snow ❄️ w a long bed 4door 1 ton Chevy 4wd w the 6.0. Can assure everyone it sounded absolutely great and did the job well. 👏
Great pick-up!
This looks like a pretty decent rig especially if the “patina” hasn’t started drilling holes. My fantasy pickup would be the 67-72 Chev variety with the short box. C-10 only please, it doesn’t need to be heavy . I know I’ll probably never see one but even if it had the stock six with manual, I’d take it.
Auction ended on 5/21/2025 with a high bid of $7,100, did not meet reserve.
