This is the only kind of white Christmas we want to see on Christmas morning. Grab the kids, and the gifts, and pile into this 1970 Cadillac DeVille to head to the in-laws. Described as original, this Caddy is sharp, and looks like another one to bribe Santa with spiked milk and cookies. This white delight is offered at $13,500. Find it here on craigslist out of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
There will not be any sleigh bells ringing while going down the road in this Cadillac. Instead it will be the monstrous power of the 472 cubic inch V8 humming down the road, where if you are festive enough, the large opera like cabin will accommodate some Christmas singing. Under the massively long hood we can see a complete, and reasonable, engine and bay. The bay would benefit from some detailing, and some touch-ups. This Caddy is equipped with air conditioning, so when the family sings their heart out and the windows fog, you can fix that without the help of a window going down.
The interior of this lovely rolling music hall is a delight. Very clean and tidy with the only complaint being the dirty driver floor area. The front bench seat is a little baggy, but is nothing serious. The dash, steering wheel, and door panels look exquisite.
Same story for the back of this great music hall. Pack in the whole family and sing with the lovely acoustics that this massive interior can produce. We prefer the classics, but you can’t beat singing “Grandma got run over by a reindeer”.
With a beautiful snow white appearance, with no real flaws visible, this DeVille is a large beauty. Needing nothing other than a family willing to sing in this great music hall, this Caddy would make a great family hauler for the family minded enthusiast. Would you put this Caddy on your wish list?

Nice!
Beautiful Cadillac. 1970 was a high watermark for GM. The whitewalls were originally two small white stripes which I believe were only used in ’70 and maybe ’71. Unfortunately, the big whitewalls are all that is available currently. Sure would be nice if Michelin manufactured whitewall tires for the older wheel sizes.
Have a great Christmas y’all. Enjoy your family.
great cars, I’m very partial to these, I’ve owned mine for over 16 years
Nice car,on the outside.
Wonder why they didn’t clean up the
interior,& under the hood?
The 1970 Cadillac will always be one of my favorites, and I’ve had several. Wonderful, substantial automobile.
I had one of these when i was a kid paid $100 bucks for it ,beat the Bajeebus out of it for a year then sold it for $100 bucks. That 472 will roast the tires till they pop. These cars are alot of fun,its literally a living room on wheels. It will seat six comfortably ,and sleep four if need be.I only had the car for a year but I had a lot of good times and memory’s in that old beat up caddy. This one is in alot beter shape than mine .If this old girl runs like I think it does ,you could drive it anywhere and have no worries. Its a Cadillac, this was THE car to own in 1970.
My grandfather bough
t a 72 SedanDeVille new in 72. Paid 6900 bucks for it. He and my grandmother drove it for 10 years, then my Dad bought it from him and drove it for 10 years. Great car. It was like driving your couch down the highway. 17 miles to gallon at about 70, 8 miles to gallon in town. Great car.
I had a 70 conv. Maroon with white leather. Didn’t drive it much do to fuel mileage. I drove it to Ocean City MD several times for the annual car show. Four hours on the highway and I didn’t even get tired. Great road car. I might be able to justify this price if the seller had bothered to detail under the hood and the interior.
I rented a Cadillac limo in the late 70s for a photo-OP for my Punk band and the ride was great. Our limo driver made the band promise if we ever made it BIG we had to give him a full time job driving for the band. Suffice to say that we made it to a recording studio for a cable television show, but that’s as far as we ‘made it’ before everyone went their separate ways in life. If I had the dough I would buy this Deville.
nice car IMHO
Bob
In the late 70’s I used to cruise in a caddy like this with a lot of friends piled in. Yes, there were all the muscle cars (and I had one too) but the caddy was still a admired car back then, even on the strip.
my daughter was conceived in a gold one with paisley back seat ;)
