This is a stalled restoration put in the barn 20 years ago but is running and driving. It does have a dash of elegance, depending on your taste, or lack of taste, of course, and even a bit of MacBeth. The body is solid, but with the usual rust and repairs needed. This MGA is original and unmolested, well mostly. It’s listed on craigslist in the Washington DC area for $7,500. What would it take to restore this and could it be worth it? Could one at least turn this into a nice driver for a reasonable amount of time and money? I see nice drivers selling on eBay for about $15,000 up to perhaps $20,000 and really nice ones for as much as $30,000. Should one start with a better car or is there hope for this one.
