A few days back we featured a 1971 Pontiac GTO was had just been pulled from a barn. It shared said barn with a Ford Galaxie, which several of you mentioned you’d rather have than the GTO. Well the seller has just pulled the Galaxie out and has listed it here on eBay with a $6,500 Buy-It-Now price! I have to admit, now that I see it up closer, I think I would much rather have this Galaxie too! It’s definitely rough and in need of attention, but it has a great look to it, plus it has the 390 cui V8. As long as it is structurally sound, this is one I would just focus on cleaning up and making safe to drive. What about you though?

Judging by the look of the brake pedal pad I’d say 135k, not going to be cheap to fix . $2500 is a bit closer to a realistic price
I don’t know if I am cheap or out of touch with the times. I just can’t see the prices they want for cars that need everything and who knows what.
Nope.
Not even if it was a convertible.
Maybe if it was a 7-litre.
Your old crap belongs to you, sir.
Yawn, another car flipper. Has it listed for sale on ebay before it’s even up on the tow truck. Poor Mrs. Shaw probably got $200 for it…
What is the deal with these flippers filling in the description field in all caps in a continuous, unpunctuated spewing of information?
This guy seems like a hack. I called him a Hillbilly on the GTO post. I get a bad feeling from the way things are posted sometimes. This is another example. A two door Galaxie can be a nice ’60’s boat, but if someone pays him anywhere near asking price, I’ll call this fellow a genius.
That is a $500 car. Even today.
The 8 track alone is almost worth the asking price. Had one in my 62 poncho convertible Top down speakers up. the only way to go..
