This 1969 Lincoln Continental isn’t perfect, but it looks to be a really nice survivor with only 69,000 miles. Of course, you never know until you inspect it personally. It’s all original except for the carpet. The owner has complete documentation to prove their claims. The body does have one dent, a parking lot mishap. He has complete photo documentation of restoring the car to show car condition after if was pulled from storage. Normally, I wouldn’t pay much attention to awards given to cars like these, but one award does say “Ford Motor Company”. It’s probably just the division it was judged in, though. This is in the New Orleans area and since he had to replace the carpet, so one does wonder if this Lincoln was affected by the floods. All the electrical works. I would still be inclined to inspect this car very carefully, pulling a door card to have a look for signs of mud. He’s listed it here on craigslist for $8,500 or reasonable offer. What do you think would be reasonable for this grand old sled, if it’s as nice as it says it is?

I love Lincoln’s. This is a bit too much though, IMO.
How can a restored vehicle be a survivor?
Looks pretty clean to me, would be surprised if this saw any flood damage since floods represent a serious death nell to cars with this many electrical systems on them, yet this one professes to remain in nearly fully working order. That said, ya still gotta love one to buy one…
Nice Car .. Without inspecting it, I would say 6500.00 is fair
