By the 1990s, the traditional Station Wagon had taken a back seat in the new car market due to the rise of the SUV. Vehicles like this 1994 Chevrolet S-10 Blazer Tahoe LT were the new kings, offering interior space and off-road ability. This Blazer makes a positive first impression, presenting nicely and featuring a 4.3-liter V6 under the hood. However, the ace up its sleeve could be the odometer reading of 28,000 genuine miles. I must say a big thank you to Barn Finder Curvette for spotting this fantastic survivor listed here on eBay in Bensenville, Illinois. The seller set their BIN for this beauty at $21,888 OBO.

Chevrolet launched the First Generation S-10 Blazer in 1983, with production ending in 1994. The vehicle evolved during that time, and the introduction of a four-door version in 1990 increased versatility, making the Blazer a practical alternative to traditional Station Wagons. This final-year example is a beauty, ordered by its first owner in Dark Red. The paint reflects its surroundings like a mirror, with the seller’s excellent close-up shots confirming that any cosmetic flaws are insignificant. Rust isn’t an issue, while the trim and tinted glass are spotless. The Blazer rolls on its factory alloy wheels, wrapped in a shiny new set of General tires.

Lifting the hood reveals this Blazer’s 4.3-liter V6. The VIN indicates this motor is the L35 variant, the more potent of the pair offered by Chevrolet in 1994. The factory quoted a power output of 195hp, providing pretty respectable performance for a vehicle tipping the scales at around 3,700 lbs. The power feeds to the road via a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Power steering and anti-lock brakes were standard equipment. Although the seller doesn’t mention verifying evidence for their mileage claim, there is plenty of good news for potential buyers. They say that the Blazer drives like a dream, ready for a life of adventure or as a daily driver with its new owner behind the wheel.

Chevrolet marketed the Tahoe LT as the most luxurious version of the 1994 Blazer, and the interior appointments confirm this. The new owner will receive ice-cold air conditioning, power windows, power locks, cruise control, a tilt wheel, a rear defogger, and an AM/FM radio and cassette player. There are no aftermarket additions, and no indication of functional issues. The Gray interior, trimmed in a combination of cloth and vinyl, looks impressive for its age. Some images appear to show seat marks, but their disappearance in others suggests these perceived faults are a trick of the light. The dash looks excellent, with no evidence of crumbling plastic or UV damage.

This 1994 Chevrolet Blazer Tahoe LT is a classic that shows plenty of promise. Its odometer reading is low, promising years of reliable service to its new owner. The seller’s price is at the top end of the market, but its condition seems to justify their figure. Some readers may question why you would consider paying a premium for an SUV of this vintage. The alternative could be to race into the nearest Chevrolet dealership and slap down the cash for a shiny new Blazer. The prospect is tempting, and I understand why some might consider it. However, that would leave no change from $39,000 before adding any factory options. This Tahoe is considerably cheaper, and the seller’s willingness to negotiate could further improve the situation. The price difference between the pair would leave the buyer with plenty of cash in their wallet, and that thought must be tempting.

Looks brand new inside. Buddy has one. He takes that thing on some pretty far treks into the woods, all stock except w better shocks, and 1 size up BFG all terrains. Gets ya where you want to go these trucks. 🏕
Another from the category of…. Where on earth has this been hiding??? Like Stan already said, very clean and these were very good trucks. The 4.3 V6 was a strong runner back then and will have no trouble at all keeping up with todays traffic. Very nice color combination too. I just hope it stays this nice. Very nice find, tip of the hat to eagle eyed Curvette and Adam for writing this one up.
No matter how nice it is, how many people would be willing to pay nearly $22,000 for a small SUV that was considered disposable transportation since new. This is the 5th time the dealer has listed it on eBay and who knows what other platforms. There are a lot of options at or below that price range. The market has its limits, a perfect example is the 1964 Ford Country Squire wagon featured earlier today, which has been listed for years.

The front and rear bumpers could be better aligned to the body. The mileage could be legitimate but this could also be a well-cared for or refurbished vehicle with 128K. With no documentation … apply all caveats
Another concern is the door strikers were painted black at some point. Tell me again how the striker bolts and their shims were were painted in the paint shop before assembly.
