It’s a shame that I didn’t get to this one sooner! The auction ends in less than an hour, but this Chevelle still deserves a mention. It has supposedly been sitting in a garage in Ohio since 1982. It has 86k miles on the odometer and is claimed to be original. The best part though is that there is a 454 under the hood and a four on the floor! It is the 360 horsepower LS5 version, so it’s not quite the top offering in 1970, but it would still be a load of fun. The seller has done a lot of work to make it a runner and with a little more elbow grease I think it could be a great driver. Unfortunately, the current high bid of $30k is probably all it’s really worth. Take a look at the auction listing here on eBay. It should be interesting to see what it ends up going for!

Looks like the auction ended at $30,200 with 96 bids. A last minute snipe took it!
This goes to show that “good stuff” keeps up with inflation. How much longer though with the world economy going down the drain.
I will never understand why someone would deprive themself of the pleasure of driving a car like this for more than 30 years. I know finances, time and skill are factors but this looked pretty complete. It seems like a great find. Love the colors and options.
‘Yawn’…..yet another boring Chevelle.
I might have the right air cleaner for this car stuck back up in my shop out of the way on the top shelve.
