72k Mile 1969 Shelby GT350

Disclosure: This site may receive compensation from some link clicks and purchases.

The famous GT350 was known to be the high-performance version of the Mustang named after the renowned Carroll Shelby, though he wasn’t involved with the production of the 1969. 1,086 fastbacks were produced in 1969 making this a rare vehicle. The example at hand is said to have just 72k original miles and is listed for sale or best offer on eBay. The bidding ends Monday, December 23rd.

The exterior is finished in what is assumed to be a non-original orange and appears to be in excellent condition. The car is said rust-free. The car is equipped with factory mag wheels wrapped in period-correct tires. The iconic profile of this muscle car is timeless while also being a time capsule from the late ’60s.

The Gt350’s interior is in excellent condition and is said to be original. No tearing or blemishes are apparent. It’s astounding that a car of this age has an original interior of this caliper. It is finished in black with wood-style accents. The dash has a very ’60s look with its large inlaid gauges. The next owner could drive and enjoy this car without having to spend time restoring the cabin.

The original 351 Windsor V8 engine sends 290 horsepower to the wheels via an automatic transmission. The engine bay appears to be in excellent condition. The car is said to drive and run well and all components are said to be in good working order. The car’s Marti report and some of its original paperwork accompany the sale of the car. This is a rare opportunity to own a well-kept and excellent-condition GT350. It isn’t too often that an example of this caliper comes up for sale. The next owner could take the car to shows or drive it on the backroads on the weekends. If you think this 1969 Shelby GT350 belongs in your collection, bid on eBay before the auction ends tomorrow.

Seems alot of the GT350s, and GT500s are autoloaders.

Nice write up, although I disagree with the thought of “non original color”. I’d need to see the data plate or Marti report to know for sure.

It’s Grabber Orange, which is a factory color. It doesn’t look like the seller included a picture of the Marti Report, which would tell us if it’s original to the car.

I’ve never seen one in the color, but what a fantastic color on this car, original or not. Don’t know if they also ever made these in Grabber blue, but what a pair at a car show Listing has ended at $87,900.00, but that doesn’t mean it sold.
These were sort of like the GTX, expensive to buy and often pampered. I don’t recall seeing them ever being thrashed, they just weren’t competitive with the earlier versions.
I love the look of these.

Pretty car and I agree, it’s a great color, original or not.
Just to be “that guy.” Caliber, not caliper. Sometimes, autocorrect is not correct.

It’s gone $87K or a little less. The orange is correct. I have a pantera that color.
