What does a 1947 Dodge D150 truck, 1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, 1979 Pontiac Trans Am, 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS and a 1967 Dodge Charger have in common? Not much other than they are all located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The cars vary in condition and value. The owner of these cars has decided to list them all for sale here on Craigslist. For the 1947 Dodge D150 pickup, the seller is asking $22,500. The 1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo is listed at $12,500 and the 1979 Pontiac Trans Am is listed at $15,500. The 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS is in rougher shape and listed at $21,500 but the seller will consider a trade for a Harley motorcycle. The 1967 Dodge Charger is listed for sale at $27,500.

The 1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo is powered by a 350 cubic inch V8 and fed via a 2 barrel carburetor. It is said to runa nd drive and have much of its original sheet metal. It has power steering and power brakes. The white exterior and factory hub cabs make the car look pretty plain. The interior is green with a bench seat and automatic transmission.

The 1979 Pontiac Trans Am looks like it needs paint badly but might be all there. It rides of factory aluminum 15×8 snowflake wheels and is powered by an Olds 403 cubic inch V8 engine. Known as the L80 designation, this engine was rated at 185 horsepower from the factory. The car has power windows, T-Tops, power door locks and power windows. It was running 2 years ago and is said to by 98% rust free. The Trans Am is black with a black deluxe interior.

The 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle is said to be a real SS car (138 VIN). It is a roller with no engine and was originally optioned with air conditioning. It had power steering and a 12 bolt rear end. The glass is said to be good and have a clear title. The car needs paint and ha had body work in the past.

The final car for sale is a 1967 Dodge Charger equipped with a 383 cubic inch V8. It is said to be one of 601 built with a 4 speed transmission. It is said to be a solid driver even though the underlying primer is starting to peak through the gold paint. The car is optioned with air conditioning and power steering. The seller is looking for cash buyers and appears to have multiple other cars on the property. Maybe these cars will get purchased and put back on the road.

If the 15×8 wheels on the Trans Am are original, then it’s a WS6 car. The seller claims it’s a documented Y82 Special Edition, but the dash and steering wheel disagree.

No such thing as a ‘47 D150. That nomenclature didn’t come along for a few decades.

Well, the truck has got my attention. Can’t say that I’m all that fussy about a stakebed on a pickup chassis, a pickup bed is far more desireable. Just the same it would look good at my place. The cars are fine but they don’t get my blood flowing like an old pickup does. I wish we could have one at a time…

IMHO the seller is asking driver quality prices for, mostly non-driver in need of restoration vehicles. I can’t see him getting many takers, but I wish him luck.
