UPDATE 7/19/16 – Jeremy has dropped to price a grand for a quick sale!
FROM 6/29/16 – This nice driver-quality Jensen-Healey is owned by one of our readers – Jeremy M. He has been been into these for about a decade now and has taken great care of this car. It has a few needs, but I don’t see any reason why it couldn’t be enjoyed right away. Jeremy has a couple of other Jensen-Healeys that need his attention so he has decided to let this one go. It’s located in Sikeston, Missouri and he is asking $6,000 $5,000. Interested parties can contact him here via email.
The Lotus Twin Cam engine runs strong with 71k miles. Jeremy has installed dual Dellortos, but would like to keep them so he can stick the Strombergs back on if you like. With the Dellortos fuel mileage is down to about 17 mph, but with the sweet sound of the Monza exhaust, Jeremy doesn’t mind a bit! The front seal has been done, but the rear needs to replaced at some point.
The original interior looks very clean. Jeremy claims that the seats could use some new foam, but that he’s tall and doesn’t mind sitting a little lower. There’s a hard top and a tonneau cover included with the car. The cover needs a little work, but should be salvageable. The car cruises comfortably at 75-85 miles per hour and it has been taken on several long trips.
The exterior isn’t perfect, but it looks like the perfect driver to me. A few flaws don’t really matter when you are behind the wheel anyway. The fuel tank is clean and the engine runs well so there shouldn’t be too many worries. Leave the small issues for the winter and have a ball this summer! Thanks for listing this car with us Jeremy. We hope it goes to a good home where it will be driven and enjoyed. If any of you are thinking about selling your classic car, please consider listing it for sale here on Barn Finds!
Looks like a solid car and hope it finds a new home here.
had one and it is great fun
Gosh all the lawn art is for sale never seen so many Jensen Healey 4 sale in the last 3 months this one looks priced to go…..
Nice looking car. I have always liked these. Great interiors, very comfortable.
Good luck, hope it sells !
I happen to have a pair of N.O.S. factory sill assemblies [the body below the doors] that I ordered 30 years ago for a car owner who never picked them up. Today the factory original sills are made of unobtanium, and reproductions are not that good. If you need a pair or know of someone who does, let me know. They will be VERY reasonably priced.
How to tell if you need them: If the doors hit the rear fender panels, or you have to lift up the doors to close them [and the hinges are not worn out] you need new sills welded in!
Bill: I may be interested in the sills(I assume you mean the “triangular” shaped rockers) if the “price is right”.
I live in Atlanta, GA

A friend of mine once had one of these burn up, due to some faulty fuel gasket, parked in the main street of Walla Walla WA. A month later we used my 1968 Coupe de Ville to tow it back to Vancouver for repairs.
Those were the days.
Jeremy has lowered the price of this Jensen-Healey to $5,000. That seems like a great deal for such a nice car!
Agreed – lots of smiles per dollar on a car like this.
Sounds like a deal to me! If you are wondering, compare TR6 prices, this is cheap!
I wish I could like this a hundred times. Great price compared to its contemporaries.
