You don’t need to own a classic Porsche to appreciate or collect vintage Porsche memorabilia. The company produced lots of interesting and cool print items over the years. Even their service manuals are fun to look through, as they give you a glimpse into how the cars are put together. Reader Bob H has decided to move his collection of six Porsche Technical Specification books and his 1954 Porsche 356 Service Manual along to someone new. He’s asking $550 for the lot, which includes shipping from Big Pine Key, Florida!
When Porsche would update a car model, it would issue new Porsche Technical Specification booklets to dealers so that people could easily look up the performance and technical details of the updated car. Bob’s collection covers the 914, 924, the ’75 911, 911S, Carrera 2,7 and Turbo, the ’76/’77 911, Carrera 3.0 Turbo, ’78 thru ’80 928, and 944 ’82 and ’83 models.
The service manual came with a 1957 Porsche Cabriolet that Bob purchased in the late 1960s, so he’s had it for a long time! It looks to still be in good condition and would certainly come in handy if you own a 356. Even if you don’t, it’s an interesting item to have. There can’t be many of these manuals still floating around! If you’d love to add these books to your memorabilia collection, be sure to send Bob a message and make a deal. But you better act fast; these are bound to sell quickly!
Just so you don’t think I’ve over priced these manuals I cruised the net to see what a decent price was and was blown away at the high prices this stuff was going for. Decided I wasn’t going to sell something for twice what I would have paid for it myself so what you see here is 50% of that number.
Hi Bob – let’s make a deal. Not sure how to contact you directly.

I have way too many manuals, factory , Motors, Dykes, Haynes, etc. Some go back to 1910, in my business they get used daily. Haynes is transitioning to digital, and there’s good stuff like the old manual project online, but in the future if online becomes problem, cost to access or shutdowns ,the paper manual on the shelf is invaluable.
