If you like your classic convertibles big, bold, and powerful, this 1967 Chrysler 300 might check every box. Equipped with the optional 375-horsepower 440 cubic inch V8, dual exhaust, 4-barrel carburetor, dual-snorkel air cleaner, and chrome valve covers, it has the muscle to match its full-size luxury credentials. Finished in blue with a black interior, this 300 is loaded with features: air conditioning, cruise control, tilt-and-telescoping steering, multi-speed wipers, AM/FM radio, power seats, power steering, and power windows. The seller, a private owner, notes it runs and drives but will need a new top, tires, and a tune-up before hitting the road. Located in the U.S., it’s listed here on eBay with a clean title and 88,672 miles.

The exterior wears its age, with primer showing in places and evidence of past repaint work. The original “Silver Mist Poly” paint code (AA-1) suggests the current blue finish isn’t factory. A hole in the convertible top and rough trim mean the new owner will likely plan for a replacement.

Factory 15-inch wheels wear the correct “disc brake” stamped hubcaps, important, since this car carries the Budd four-piston front disc brake setup. The seller reports the brakes function but may have a leak, as they required bleeding recently.

Inside, the black bucket seats and console remain original, with the upholstery described as fair. Both power front seats work, though the passenger’s reclining function is disabled due to a missing cylinder. The power windows all operate to some degree but need lubrication and electrical cleaning to work correctly.

The 440cid big block sits cleanly in the engine bay, paired with an automatic transmission and backed by a limited-slip differential. The seller has driven the car extensively on long trips, reporting it runs well without pulling or other driving issues, though the pinion seal shows signs of leakage.

While this Chrysler won’t win any show trophies in its current state, it offers a complete and rare full-size convertible package with a top-tier engine. For enthusiasts who appreciate the blend of luxury and performance that Chrysler’s letter cars were known for, this example could be an excellent candidate for a rolling restoration. Would you refresh it as a driver or aim for a full factory-correct restoration?

Wow this was the very top model. Available only w the autoloader, the tnt🧨 440 pkg. Very powerful and fast car here. Mopar fans rejoice. This one is worth a full restoration. Fantastic find. Thanks Elizabeth
Completely agree with what Stan said above. Great find and write up Elizabeth.
These could seriously move with a 440 especially!!! This is so worth a full restoration too. Beautiful colors. Can you imagine the original owner driving this beauty off the lot???
By the way….. Wheres Rex? He’d like this one!!! ( Who knows maybe he making room for it right now as we speak ( we can sneak this next to the Riv lol)
And don’t forget his Newport ? too Dave
Oh brother. I meant to type that along with his Riv. Sheesh I’m really getting forgetfull. It was in my brain while typing it. I’ve complimented him enough times on it. Thanks Stan!!!
Nice C-body offering here. TNT-440, buckets, console. Factory disc brakes.AM/FM. Could be wrong, but remember 67′ heads were one year only, better flowing. If so another reason to bid.
There is something about the head that’s different, was it a closed chamber? I had a set about 45 years ago. If I remember correctly, the last 3 numbers were 915, I had them at a buddy’s garage when the garage caught fire. A lot of nice parts melted that night.
Not better flowing heads, but higher compression heads, especially when heads were installed on 1968, 1969, and 1970 TNT 440’s
TNT? Not so sure on that. Not in 1967. Probably a 350HP version, still, no slouch. So does that massive air unit, need a “recharge”? I miss the days when Freon was a buck a can (less if you bought a case like I did with my leaky hoses).
Located in Leadville, CO. Bidding is at $3076 with 12 hours to go.
A very special 67 Chrysler drop top 300 here. 4 piston disc brakes in 67 were top of the line and were probably needed with that 440. ACs in convertibles also rare. Look at the size of that compressor and clutch. With bidding at $4k a minute ago, I doubt it will make it to the sellers reserve. Great find
Nice loaded option Chrysler here. I like that it even have all correct hubcaps that state it has disc brakes which is rare and hard to find. The price is right and this one should be saved and restored.
Ended at $4,100.
Reserve Not Met.
Get a loud stereo installed and some pretty girl’s with big hair and drive around blasting love shack by the B52s
