Though Ford’s large Expedition and Excursion SUV models were factory-produced competitors to Chevrolet’s Suburban, both of those had a custom converted predecessor: the Centurion Classic. This 1993 Ford Bronco Centurion C150 Classic is available here on eBay, and it’s a solid example of an oddball truck that is gaining traction in collector markets.
This Centurion is available in Monkton, Maryland with a clean title. The seller mentions that the truck runs and drives great, and it also benefits from a variety of recent maintenance items.
Centurion created the C150 Classic by grafting the rear quarter panels, hardtop, and tailgate from a Bronco onto a crew cab F-150 model. The exterior of this example is very clean, and it also features modifications such as a lift kit and aftermarket wheels.
Inside the cabin, you’ll find a tidy interior, with the seller mentioning that all of the woodgrain trim was professionally refinished. All three rows of leather seating do show their age a bit, but they are in overall impressive shape.
This truck uses a 351 cu.-in. V8 engine and an automatic transmission with 70,000 original miles on the combination. The engine runs and drives great, benefitting from new parts such as injectors, spark plugs, distributor, ignition coil and a fuel tank. Last but not least, this C150 Classic features an optional push-button 4-wheel-drive system that is fully operational.
At the time of this article being written, bidding for this C150 Classic is at $15,000. Could you see yourself owning this custom-built Chevy competitor?
I’ve always liked the crisp, clean lines of this era Ford. This is one looks nice, and ready to haul butts, or boards.
I’ve got a 1992 diesel 7.3L F350 4×4 version, wife hates it, I love it. Rarely get in or out of it without someone striking up a conversation.

Is this Centurion still available?
Chris – my wife always wants to see mine leave! If you really want one but mine is a rare bird.
You can see photos of mine on Instagram @75ChevLagunaS3
Looks meaner now with the black American Racing baja wheels and new KO2’s
It is not, I actually own it now.
Zach, you bought the white one? That’s great! I’ve still got my 1-ton diesel 4×4 but with how prices have rocketed I’m likely to go the BaTrailer route on mine this summer
